Safety is a shared responsibility — one that shapes how we work, live and look after one another.

It was a pleasure for MITEC to host the 26th Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Safety and Health (COSH), bringing together industry professionals, safety practitioners, policymakers and experts to exchange knowledge, insights and ideas.

From Certification to Transformation

MITEC marks another significant milestone in its sustainability journey with the achievement of the GreenRE Bronze Certification, presented during the International Sustainability Week (ISW) Dinner held at MITEC.

The certification was presented by The Honourable Tuan Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Noh, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, to Datuk Azlan Shah Jaffril, Chairman of METCO, in the presence of Datuk Seri FD Iskandar, Chairman of GreenRE and Co-Chair of ISW 2026; Datuk Syed Faizal Shah, Director of METCO; and Mala Dorasamy, CEO of MITEC.

More than a certification, this achievement represents an important step in MITEC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, improving the sustainability of its operations and supporting its contribution towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Under MITEC’s sustainability initiative, this milestone reinforces our commitment to moving beyond aspiration towards measurable action and continuous improvement, from certification to transformation.

Advancing Agricultural Innovation at MITEC

MITEC welcomed Agri Malaysia 2026, the 9th Malaysia International Agriculture Technology Exhibition, bringing together key stakeholders from across the agriculture and plantation ecosystem.

The exhibition was officially officiated by YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, with Tan Mei Phing, CEO of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), among the distinguished guests in attendance.
