BELOW 18 years-old
Ages 4 - 7 : 2min, only points, no submission
Ages 8 - 10 : 2 min, only 2 types of submissions are allowed:
Ages 11 - 12 : 3 min, only 2 types of submissions are allowed:
Straight arm bars , Rear-naked choke
Ages 13 - 17 : 4 min.
ABOVE 18 years-old
White / Yellow / Orange belts : 5 min
Blue belts : 6 min
Purple belts : 6 min
Brown belts : 8 min
Black belts : 8 min
Legal submissions (from 13y and above)
All types of takedowns;
All types of chokes (it is forbidden to put a hand on the opponent’s mouth);
All types locks (wrist, ankle, knee/leg, shoulder, elbow) and compressions/slicers
Illegal techniques :
Heel hooks, for minors and white/yellow/orange belts adults.
(Blue belts and above Heel Hooks are Legal)
Anything that affects the cervical vertebrae and/or the spine as a whole (Full Nelson / Crucifix)
