We, the organizing committee of the 2024 Malaysia Cultural Festival (MCF) and the Chinese Language Society of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Jeli Campus, sincerely apologize to all relevant parties and those concerned about the issues that arose due to communication gaps and coordination challenges during the preparation of this festival.
During the planning phase, difficulties in information transmission, misunderstandings in coordination, and shortcomings in internal management led to disagreements between both parties. These challenges not only affected collaboration within the team but also drew public attention, ultimately preventing the festival from achieving its original goal of a tri-campus joint organization. This is a shared regret for all committee members and volunteers.
We would like to take this opportunity to clarify that this incident was not the fault of any single party, but rather a situation where both sides had areas for improvement in ex*****on. We recognize the complexities of event planning and acknowledge each other's dedication to cultural exchange. Therefore, we take joint responsibility and commit to making the following improvements in future collaborations:
Enhancing communication mechanisms – Optimizing the flow of information to ensure smoother collaboration.
Strengthening teamwork – Improving coordination between both parties to reduce misunderstandings and conflicts.
Optimizing management strategies – Establishing clearer roles and responsibilities in future events to enhance overall ex*****on.
Upholding the essence of cultural exchange – Staying true to our mission of promoting cultural events and working together for cultural preservation.
This experience has made us deeply aware that effective communication, mutual understanding, and trust are the foundations of successful collaboration. The success of a cultural festival relies on the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved. We hope to use this as an opportunity to reflect, learn, and grow, fostering stronger partnerships for future cultural exchange events.
Once again, we extend our sincerest apologies to all relevant parties and supporters for any impact this incident may have caused. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. Moving forward, we will strive to adopt a more mature and professional approach to contribute to the preservation and development of culture.
