As the Chinese New Year approaches, everything is renewed with hope and vitality. In order to allow all teachers and students to experience the warmth and joy of Chinese culture, the Chinese Society of our school plans to organise the annual school wide Chinese New Year Celebration.
The event will feature traditional cultural performances, festive decorations, and cultural experience activities. It aims to provide students with an opportunity to appreciate Chinese culture in a joyful atmosphere, value mother-tongue education, and foster a sense of cultural identity and unity.
However, as the event involves the entire school community, the required funds and materials are relatively substantial. With the society’s limited resources, it is difficult for us to bear the full cost independently. Therefore, we sincerely appeal to parents and kind members of the community to extend their support by sponsoring funds or materials to help ensure the smooth running of this celebration.
Every contribution, regardless of amount or quantity, is a strong affirmation of Chinese language education. This is not merely a festive event, but a commitment to preserving Chinese culture and nurturing the next generation. The journey of Chinese education requires collective effort, and cultural heritage needs the shared protection of all.
We firmly believe that through close cooperation between parents and the school, this Chinese New Year Celebration will be a great success, creating meaningful and cherished memories for our students.
