We’re honoured to welcome Prof. Nirmala Bhoo-Pathy to the Local Faculty of the Asia-Pacific Breast Cancer Summit 2026.

A public health physician and epidemiologist at Universiti Malaya, Prof. Nirmala is internationally recognised for her work on the economic and social impact of cancer, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Her research has shaped global conversations around financial toxicity, survivorship, and health system protection.

We look forward to her perspectives during a case-based discussion at APBCS, where real-world challenges meet evidence-driven policy and practice.

We are honoured to welcome Dr. Najihah Binti Abu Bakar as part of our Local Faculty at the Asia-Pacific Breast Cancer Summit 2026.

Dr. Najihah is a Clinical Oncologist at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). She earned her medical degree from University College Cork, Ireland, and completed her Master in Clinical Oncology at Universiti Malaya. She previously led the establishment of the Oncology Unit at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, serving as Head of Oncology in Perak, before returning to HKL.

Her clinical interests include breast cancer and head & neck cancer.

A Clinical Oncologist at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Eznal is actively involved in clinical trials, oncology training, and has contributed to Malaysia’s Breast Cancer Clinical Practice Guidelines, bringing strong real-world and academic perspectives to the table.
