First day of the XcSkyRace was really challenging very strong nort wind and stable atmosphere in the valley ...the most patient pilots where able to go in to the high mountains, where the cloud base was at impressive 4700m. We had a short window for the flights but we were able to make up to 90 kms. The winer of the day is Gavin McClurg , 2nd place took Marko Hrgetić and 3rd place Pierre Laurence. Cap down for Matt Henzi who took off in very challenging conditions.

The winers! Mitch Riley took best XC flight and the longest XC flight prize. The EN-B category won Ignacio Caride, EN-C Marko Hrgetic. Overall winner was Mitch Riley with flown more than 600km. Second place took Peter Thompson and third place Marko Hrgetic.
In teams the winners were Pizza Wolves and they took two Oudies 4 from ours sponsors Naviter. Second place too Team Cuevas and got SkyDrop GPS devices.

Following a few rains, the landscape turns green. It's been a very dry spring but also an amazing flying year so far. It's time to enjoy the soft puffy flights of summer in Valle. However, we wish you an amazing season back home and we look forward to January. Some serious XC will take place! See you then!
