The festival began in 2001 in a resident’s backyard, and has grown to include hundreds of musicians on two stages in San Pancho’s Plaza del Sol.
Celebrated annually for three days during the last weekend of February, San Pancho’s Music Festival is one of the largest musical events in the region, helping to make San Pancho the cultural heart of Nayarit.
The Festival features world-class international musicians as well as those from all parts of Mexico, including amazing musicians that call San Pancho and the surrounding region their home.
There is no fee to attend the Festival. It is funded by businesses, individual sponsors, and attendee donations, with proceeds from album and band merchandise sales going directly to the performing artists.

El festival comenzó en 2001 en el patio trasero de un residente y ha crecido hasta incluir a cientos de músicos en dos escenarios en la Plaza del Sol de San Pancho.
Celebrado anualmente durante tres días durante el último fin de semana de febrero, el Festival de Música de San Pancho es uno de los eventos musicales más grandes de la región, ayudando a hacer de San Pancho el corazón cultural de Nayarit.
El Festival presenta músicos internacionales de clase mundial, así como de todas partes de México, incluidos músicos increíbles que llaman a San Pancho y la región circundante su hogar.
No hay cuota para asistir al Festival. Está financiado por empresas, patrocinadores individuales y donaciones de los asistentes, y las ganancias de las ventas de mercadería de álbumes y bandas van directamente a los artistas
