It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and longtime support rider, Bob Foster. For over 10 years, Bob was the guy you wanted beside you in Baja—steady, tough, loyal, and always up for one more mile. He loved his two kids, his wife, adventure, and wandering with a camera in hand, capturing the world the way only he could.
Bob and Trail Boss Alexander logged more hard miles together than most riders ever will… pre-running for No Wimps, Malcolm’s Baja Ride, or the Baja 1000, and sharing more campfire laughs than anyone could count.
To everyone who rode with him: Bob wasn’t just part of the crew- he was part of the soul of these rides. And we like to think he’s out there now, somewhere along a perfect Baja ridgeline, heading into the sunset with that calm, steady style we all knew.
For those who’ve asked how they can honor Bob, his daughter is running the Chicago Marathon with the ALZ STARS team in his name—carrying forward his adventurous spirit and raising awareness for families facing Alzheimer’s.
