Welcome To Khel Kabaddi
Angadi Institute of Management Studies (Rani Channamma University, Belagavi) is an esteemed institution to pursue knowledge beyond the traditional boundaries. At AIMS we are not only focusing to provide our students with class room teaching but backed by value added programs like seminars ,group discussions, presentations but we are also committed to encouraging and promoting the high ideals of sportsmanship, integrity and ethics, as well as developing a positive environment for athletic events, Which acts as a suitable platform where they can implement their theoretical management skills into practice. It is a measure of each college and individual’s understanding of their commitment to the educational nature of interscholastic athletics. Good sportsmanship is a conduct which imposes self-control involving honest rivalry, courteous relations and graceful acceptance of results. It should be evident in all college functions and demonstrated by the ability to accept defeat without complaint, victory without bragging and the treatment of opponents with fairness and courtesy. Athletic competition is an extension of the classroom and an educational activity which provides lessons difficult to be taught in another environment. The need for improvement to sportsmanship in society is evident and will require a maximum effort by everyone involved in athletics. A major part of the role of education through sports is to teach student-athletes to sportsmanship and respect for teammates, coaches, officials, opponents and he game itself.KHEL KABADDI is an idea conceived by the students of AIMS. It is an event that caters to the youth, the spirit, the fun and the competition at a magnitude like none other.
