Soon, Black Lake will be quiet in the early morning, bikes will be lined up in transition and athletes from different parts of the world will be standing on the shore waiting for the same thing: the start.

After that, everyone has their own day.

For some, the goal is to race, for others, simply to finish and for many, getting to the start line was already a long journey.

That is what we love about BLACKLAKE.

It is not only about distances and elevation. It is about spending a long day in one of the wildest parts of Montenegro, sharing the course with people who came there for the same reason: to challenge themselves.

Five unusual days. Five off-the-wall Rituals. One big blackout. Oh, and an Initiation Ritual!

Project Blackout is back, and entries are now open!

This edition starts with an Initiation Ritual (One continuous hour of exercise where Doing Everything Wrong is encouraged!). Complete it on the 21st of the month that you sign up (June to October).

Finish all five Rituals, plus the Initiation Ritual, and you'll earn 30 X-Points (35 if you complete the final Ritual at midnight on New Year's Eve), as well as an entry into the prize draw for:
