📌 The jury of the 8th edition of Seanema Film Festival short films in competition category comprised of Alexandra Gabrižová (Slovakia), Joanna Żak (Poland) and Tan Kazazi (Albania) announced the winners at last night’s closing event.

🏆Best Short Film award went to The Real Truth about the Fight by Andrea Slaviček (Croatia, Spain 2023).

“Fascinating and intense portrait of a teenage’s world. We follow an interrupted but persuasive narrative of Lena, a girl, who tries to express her inner world through songs and metaphor.
We were enchanted by her witty humour and direct contact with the camera, which left us almost as if we were a witness of the title Fight, haunted by what stayed untold.
Bold and promising director's voice of Andrea Slaviček”, stated the Jury.

🌿 Special Mention went to The Ghosts You Draw on Back by Nikola Stojanović (Serbia 2023).

“The story centres around a family which recently went through a loss of a loved one. We appreciate the strong visual metaphors of a deep scratch - on the body, in the heart, and on a landscape. How can we fill the black holes that all of a sudden open up like craters? And what to fill them with? Caringly written, captured and directed piece with well-performing characters.
By giving this special mention, we want to encourage more daring and captivating stories of and about the young generation, that this film certainly represents”, was concluded in the statement.

Osmo izdanje festivala Seanema zatvara se večeras u Centru za kulturu u Ulcinju u 20 sati proglašenjem pobjednika "Najbolji kratki film" i "Specijalno priznanje", kao i projekcijom filma "Ekskurzija".

Film EKSKURZIJA Une Gunjak je produkcija Bosne i Hercegovine, Hrvatske, Francuske, Norveške i Katara, ujedno kandidat BiH u kategoriji za nagradu Američke akademije filmske umjetnosti i nauke Oskar.

Podsjećamo da je tokom ovog izdanja prikazano osam kratkih filmova u konkurenciji, kao i četiri kratka i duga filma van konkurencije.

Selektorka takmičarske selekcije kratkih filmova je crnogoska producentkinja, teoretičarka filma i saradnica u nastavi FDU Cetinje, Dr Jelena Mišeljić dok o pobjednicima odlučuju Alexandra Gabrižová, filmska selektorka iz Slovačke, Joanna Żak, filmska producentkinja iz Poljske i Tan Kazazi, filmski reditelj i producent iz Albanije.

Edicioni i tetë i festivalit Seanema mbyllet sonte në Qendrën për kulturë në Ulqin në ora 20 me shpalljen e fituesve “Filmi i shkurtër më i mirë” dhe “Special mention” si dhe projeksionin e filmit “Ekskurzioni”.

Filmi EKSKURZIONI i Una Gunjak është prodhim i Bosnjës dhe Hercegovinës, Kroacisë, Francës, Norvegjisë dhe Katarit, i cili këtë vit u përzgjodh si kandidat i Bosnjës dhe Hercegovinës për çmimin Oscar.

Kujtojmë që gjatë këtij edicioni janë shfaqur tetë filma të shkurtër në konkurrim, si edhe katër filma me metrazh të shkurtër dhe të gjatë jashtë konkurrimi.

Programi garues i këtij viti është kuruar nga dr Jellena Misheliq, teoreticiene filmi nga Mali i Zi, ndërsa juria është përbërë nga Aleksandra Gabrizhova, kuratore filmi nga Sllovakia, Joana Zak, producente festivali nga Polonia, dhe Tan Kazazi, regjisor dhe producent nga Shqipëria.
