Formed in 2022 by frontman and songwriter Yassine Nassib, is a heavy metal band hailing from Casablanca, Morocco.

Known for its aggressive sound, dynamic riffs, and unsettling lyrics, CHIKNO delivers a raw and unapologetic take on modern metal — all while channeling the soul of traditional Moroccan music.

What sets CHIKNO apart is its ability to fuse the brutality of metal with the depth and rhythm of local Moroccan influences, creating a soundscape that’s both chaotic and culturally rooted.
Each member brings their own distinct musical background and has made meaningful contributions to the evolution of the Moroccan metal scene.
