In 2000, lots of cyclists are doing their laps in Wiltz and are conducive to the success of the famous “24 Stonnen Velo Wooltz”. This event was known in the whole region and lots of people found their way to Wiltz. Unfortunately, this has been the last edition of the traditional race which had been part of Wiltz since 10 years.
13 years later, the city of Wiltz is dedicated to build up
a new big sport event. In partnership with AASL Wiltz, the SI Wiltz, the Lycee du Nord Wiltz and DS Sports, there will be the first edition of the 24 hours run in Wiltz in 2014, which is also the first event of this kind in Luxembourg. On a circuit of 2,2 kilometers, individual runners and teams can participate. Kids to adults, everyone can join the 6 hours run, the 12 hours run or the big 24 hours run. Individual athletes are also welcome. There will be different categories for each race:
1) Charity run (only for 24 hours run and for charity organisations only)
2) Company ranking
3) „Lycée“ ranking
4) School ranking
5) Individual runner ranking
6) Teams Women (100% female runners)
The goal is to organise once again a big sports event in Wiltz and to promote movement and healthy nutrition. It is also important to bring people together and to represent Wiltz on its best. ENTRY FEE:

-Bib number,
-catering in the athletes garden during the 6,12,24 hours of racing,
-nutrition on the track. OFFICIAL JERSEY available for 15€
A deposit of 10,-€ per runner is required for bib numbers and chips
Start and finish are in the court of the castle.
