The International Percussion Competition Luxembourg is triennal competition for percussion duos, trios and quartets that is being held at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg since 30 years.

Online registrations will be open from July 1st to October 1st 2026.

The 3rd Composition Competition of the IPCL is officially launched. The winning piece will be performed during the semi-finals of the 12th International Percussion Competition in February 2027 and the composer will be awarded €2.500.
This call goes out to composers of all ages to write a piece for mallet duo.
The deadline for the submission is July 1st 2026. All rules and regulations can be found on our website ipcl.lu

Due to ongoing renovation works at our home base we have to change the dates for the upcoming International Percussion Competition Luxembourg.
We deeply regret any inconvenience that this may cause and that is why we have been working hard to provide an excellent alternative for the participants of the competition.

We are excited to announce that the final round of the competition will be held at the extraordinary Philharmonie of Luxembourg on February 14th, 2027. The previous rounds will be held in the small auditorium at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg.

Before the end of this year, we will communicate all further details about the programs, rules and regulations regarding the Mallet Duo Competition 2027. Stay tuned!
