ART TALK REWIND - Episode 8 (in French)
La photographie en dialogue : de l’image au livre.
In collaboration with Lët’z Arles

In an era where the increasing flow of images diminishes their materiality and the book market is losing ground, what relevance does book publishing hold in the field of photography? What can printed production still offer photographers? This discussion will begin with an overview of the landscape of photography publishing and the key players who have contributed to the diffusion of art in Luxembourg. It will then explore the current significance of photography books: how can a book serve as a living archive of an artist’s work? In what ways can photographers creatively and innovatively develop their projects through print? How can they incorporate other artistic forms, such as narrative or poetry?

Guest Speaker :
Paul di Felice , independent Curator & President of EMOP Luxembourg
Florence Reckinger-Taddei , President of Lët’z Arles and Les Amis des Musées du Luxembourg
Cyrille Putman , Author and Gallerist
Fiammetta Horvat , Director of Studio Frank Horvat

Art Talk Rewind is a podcast series, revisiting the art talks that took place at the fair, where partners and guests explore key questions, shaping contemporary artistic creation, and the art market. Now available on Spotify, Youtube & our partners .lu & .next platform.

THROWBACK⎮OPENING NIGHT at
Following Luxembourg Art Week’s late-night opening, the experience continued at with a powerful night dedicated to performance and music. Borrowing its title from Antonin Artaud, « Athletes of the Heart » brought together artists for whom the stage becomes a space of endurance, vulnerability, and vital expenditure.

Here, performance unfolded as a physical, emotional, and sonic ordeal — where breath, fragility, and intensity were put at stake, transforming the night into a shared terrain of rhythm, resistance, and transcendence.
Curated by Agnès Gryczkowska , .earth, and Kevin Muhlen.

Featuring: , , & (Nexus, live), (DJ), and Maxim Tur.

THROWBACK ⎮PERFORMANCE ’dispersion of subjectivity’ by LABOUR .labour (Farahnaz Hatam & Colin Hacklander)

LABOUR’s newly commissioned performance unfolded as a sonic journey through Mudam’s spaces, transforming the museum into an instrument for deep listening. Working site-specifically, Berlin-based duo Farahnaz Hatam and Colin Hacklander explored psychoacoustics and the way architecture resonates with our capacity to hear — and perceive — our surroundings.

A performance organised by in collaboration with the 2025 rainy days festival () and Luxembourg Art Week.

THROWBACK ⎮CAFÉ CELESTE
For its 11th edition, Luxembourg Art Week entrusted the Café space — a place without walls — to the artistic duo Celeste .

Formed by María Fernanda Camarena (Guadalajara, 1988) and Gabriel Rosas Alemán (Mexico City, 1983), Celeste develops a collaborative practice grounded in dialogue. Their work unfolds through pictorial and sculptural forms that balance introspection and openness to the world.

For the Café, the duo imagined a dynamic environment at the crossroads of mural painting and immersive installation. These expansive compositions, conceived as portable structures, transformed the café into a welcoming space where visitors were invited to move beyond mere contemplation.
Through subtle plays of color and form, Celeste created moments of proximity and exchange, blurring familiar structures to open up a shared experience.
