La LUGA continue de poursuivre son rayonnement 🌿

Au-delà des frontières, la dynamique initiée par la LUGA continue de nourrir la réflexion autour du paysage, de la ville et des transitions à venir.

L’installation L’Indiscret, réalisée par Atelier Quand même et Art & Jardins I Hauts-de-France pour la LUGA, est à découvrir à Amiens dans le cadre du Festival International des Hortillonnages.

Un bel exemple de co-création, de continuité et de durabilité à travers les territoires.

La 17e édition du festival international de jardins accueille les visiteurs jusqu’au 11 octobre 2026. Douze nouvelles créations sont à découvrir. Et ce que l’on peut dire, c’est que le jury n’a pas peur de l’expérimentation.

🌾 Die Luxembourg Urban Garden (LUGA) war nur ein halbes Jahr sichtbar – und wirkt trotzdem nach. Sieben Monate nach dem Ende ziehen die Verantwortlichen eine positive Bilanz: viele Besucher, starke Resonanz und zahlreiche Installationen, die in Luxemburg-Stadt und Ettelbrück geblieben sind.

Eine Gartenschau, die Spuren hinterlässt. 🌿

Retour sur “Phyllōm” – Schürmann + Witry 🌿

La LUGA 2025 s’est achevée… mais les images de cette sculpture demeurent : une installation de 10 mètres de haut conçue comme une interprétation architecturale d’une feuille, mettant en lumière les tensions entre milieu naturel et espace urbain 🌱🏗️

Phyllōm s’inspire de la feuille, organe vital des plantes, remplissant des fonctions essentielles de photosynthèse et de transpiration. La sculpture symbolise la production d’oxygène, la purification de l’air, la création d’ombre et l’accueil d’animaux, invitant à réfléchir à l’importance de préserver nos écosystèmes et à imaginer une société plus respectueuse de l’environnement 🌎💚

Merci à toutes celles et ceux qui ont pris le temps d’observer cette œuvre modulable et recyclable, voyageant à travers le monde pour célébrer le lien entre nature, architecture et durabilité ✨

Looking back at “Phyllōm” – Schürmann + Witry 🌿

LUGA 2025 has come to an end… but the images of this sculpture remain: a 10-meter-tall installation designed as an architectural interpretation of a leaf, highlighting the tensions between the natural environment and urban space 🌱🏗️

Phyllōm is inspired by the leaf, a vital plant organ essential for photosynthesis and transpiration. The sculpture symbolizes oxygen production, air purification, the creation of shade, and providing habitat for animals, inviting reflection on the importance of preserving ecosystems and imagining a society more respectful of the environment 🌎💚

Thank you to everyone who took the time to observe this modular and recyclable work, traveling the world to celebrate the connection between nature, architecture, and sustainability ✨

Retour sur “A Painting for Insects #002” – Henrik Håkansson 🐝

La LUGA 2025 s’est achevée… mais les images de cette installation demeurent : une œuvre pensée comme un pont entre humains, animaux et environnement, où l’observation attentive des phénomènes naturels invisibles révèle la possibilité d’un dialogue secret avec le vivant 🌿🦋

Inscrite dans une série expérimentale co-créée avec différentes espèces – oiseaux, abeilles, escargots – cette peinture-écosphère évoque l’art minimal et le color field tout en offrant un habitat à des papillons et autres insectes de la vallée de la Pétrusse 🐛💛

LUGA 2025 has come to an end… but the images of this installation remain: a work conceived as a bridge between humans, animals, and the environment, where careful observation of invisible natural phenomena reveals the possibility of a secret dialogue with the living world 🌿🦋

Part of an experimental series co-created with various species – birds, bees, snails – this painting-ecosystem evokes minimal art and color field painting while providing a habitat for butterflies and other insects from the Pétrusse valley 🐛💛

♻️ LUGA ReCycle – Nordstad : une seconde vie pour les matériaux LUGA ! 🌱

À l’occasion de la clôture de la LUGA Nordstad, la Ville d’Ettelbruck lance, dans le cadre du projet LUGA ReCycle, un appel à manifestation d’intérêt pour la récupération de divers matériaux et gadgets LUGA.

Cet appel s’adresse en priorité aux institutions, établissements et administrations publiques, ainsi qu’aux associations et fondations établies au Luxembourg.

♻️ LUGA ReCycle – Nordstad: giving LUGA materials a second life! 🌱

On the occasion of the closing of LUGA Nordstad, the City of Ettelbruck is launching, as part of the LUGA ReCycle project, a call for expressions of interest for the recovery of various LUGA materials and gadgets.

This call is primarily addressed to institutions, educational establishments and public administrations, as well as associations and foundations based in Luxembourg.
