Axis Operandi aka Daniel Durlak is DJ, music producer, and event creator with many years of experience on the club scene. As a member of the Biotechnologia collective, he explores the psychedelic and tribal edges of techno. Tokyo-based DJ and founder Masafumi Take has been a dedicated explorer of techno since 2011. His style is defined by a stoic, loop-driven approach that creates intense narratives on the floor. After launching Katharsis Recordings in 2017 and touring Europe in 2018, Masafumi spent the following years refining his craft in both club and outdoor rave settings alongside .new. Since 2024, he has expanded his artistry into the realm of hardware synth live performances.

Black Wave no. 77 comes from Axis Alpha & ka.za, one half of Weltraum, Prague-based DJs who are deeply rooted in the underground techno scene, each approaching the dancefloor from a slightly different but naturally complementary angle. Together, they shape a shared sonic language built on hypnotic tension, groove, and storytelling.

Axis Alpha’s work revolves around deep, underground techno infused with hypnotic structures, trippy grooves, and atmospheric depth. Known for his narrative-driven approach, he builds sets as evolving journeys rather than static selections, balancing tension and release with precision.

ka.za entered the rave scene in 2021 and quickly developed a versatile sound spanning deep hypnotic techno, raw industrial textures, and harder edges. Over time, her focus has shifted toward minimalist, fast-paced grooves and organic hypno rhythms, where subtle pressure and physical drive meet.

Dana Nada carries music in his DNA as the son of Goa's legendary DJ GOA GIL. A key architect of Japan's underground, he is the co-founder of and has curate Re:birth festival Festival and has curated major stages for the Global Eclipse Gatherings (2017, 2024, 2026). His influence extends far beyond the decks as a driving force behind Japan's imminent superclub KRONOS and Germany's Third Eye Festival.
DAN DAN commands the dancefloor with a high-voltage blend of driving techno and irresistible groove. An artistic nomad from China, she honed her aesthetic sense studying fashion in England and France before discovering her spiritual home within Japan's thriving underground scene. Her dynamic sets have ignited crowds worldwide, blazing a trail across Asia, Australia, Europe, the USA, and beyond.
Together, their synergy has been forged on prestigious global stages. From OZORA Festival in Hungary to Texas Eclipse Festival in the USA, their performances demonstrate a unique collaborative alchemy—where DANA NADA's profound understanding of dance music culture meets DANDAN's visceral, forward-driving energy.

From his base in the Helsinki underground, Kaspiann has forged a psychedelic techno sound rooted in DIY ethos and free from tempo constraints. Through his Vala label, live performances, custom soundsystem, and self-organised parties, he cultivates a holistic approach to club music — one aimed at total immersion and psychological surrender within dimly lit, physically resonant spaces. His sound bridges low-speed experiments and fast-paced meditations, echoing early influences from trance and psy while shaping a refined, contemporary identity since launching VALA in 2021. Balancing introspective textures with impactful club energy, Kaspiann channels the pulse of Helsinki’s clubs and the raw spirit of its underground. His live sets, shifting fluidly between ambient, downtempo, and deep techno, embody a versatile, hypnotic vision that values immersion and sonic exploration above all else.
