A long weekend with Rotary on the seaside in Palanga🤩

💭 Imagine sitting down with RI President Yinka Babalola for a personal conversation. From September 3rd to 6th, take a seat at the table with him, Stephanie Urchick, and Holger Knaack — or join the discussion with Trustees, RI Directors, and Peace Fellows from around the world.

🥰 In the Lithuanian resort town of Palanga, the Rotary family from Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic States, Germany, and Switzerland comes together. The agenda is rich: workshops on supporting peace and security, innovative fundraising, and the Rotary of the future, plus the BASRAN Walk. Plenary sessions offer valuable insight into the Baltic region today — its nature and society — always through the lens of Rotary projects. Running in parallel is the 25th "Rotariada," the Baltic Rotary Olympics.

The Rotary Action Summit means business: exchange, inspiration, and motivation through participation, dialogue, and celebration. Above all, it's about recharging your Rotary energy within the community.

Rotariada, also known as the Rotary Lithuania Olympic Games, is the annual RI District 1462 event of fellowship, sports, charity and culture.

Since 2002, Rotarians, Rotaractors, and friends of Rotary have gathered every September in Palanga and Klaipėda — to compete, connect, and give back.

Rotary Action Summit attendees will participate in the morning parade (bring your Rotary attributes) and the opening ceremony. The Action Summit package also includes entry in two sports: Pétanque and Darts or EndPolio Run 5km or EndPolio Walk 5km and Darts

Get ready for four inspiring days of connection, learning, and action in Palanga, Lithuania! From September 3–6, Rotarians and Rotaractors will come together to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and create real impact.

The Summit kicks off with dynamic forums on key Rotary priorities—Foundation, Membership, Action Planning, Conflict Prevention, and Creating Impact—giving you the tools to turn ideas into meaningful projects.

Friday brings a full day of engaging plenary sessions, followed by the elegant and much-loved White Dinner—an evening of fellowship you won’t forget.

Saturday is all about energy and community: join the festive parade, take part in the Rotariada sports games, and explore one of 16 interactive workshops. The day concludes with a vibrant Rotariada concert to celebrate our shared spirit.
