In our inaugural season, we decided to restrict the number of pigeons to ensure a focused and competitive race. Each pigeon represents the dedication and passion of their respective trainers. At Jaffna OLR, we aim to take you on a unique racing journey that spans the entire length of Sri Lanka, from the top end to the bottom end. That's why we have chosen the picturesque town of Valvettithurai in Jaffna as our starting point. This strategic location allows us to cover an impressive distance of 430 km for the final race, showcasing the remarkable abilities of our racing pigeons. Race Report – Hotspot 3

Hotspot 3 was a challenging race, covering a distance of 246 km to the loft. From the liberation point all the way to the loft, the birds faced continuous headwinds, making this the hardest race we have ever experienced.

Only two birds managed to arrive on Day 1.
• 1st bird arrival time: 10 hours 56 minutes
• 2nd bird arrival time: 11 hours 6 minutes

We would like to congratulate our winners:
• 1st Prize: Mr. M. Sivakumar
• 2nd Prize: Mr. Sudharsan

Both winners produced truly hard-day pigeons under extremely tough conditions.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who participated and supported this race.
