Department of Economics, University of Colombo and its Tourism Study Programme - Executive Diploma of Tourism Events and Hotel Management is organizing a Cricket Carnival for the first time, to celebrate the United Nations World Tourism Day in Sri Lanka. This ceremony will be held on 25th September 2016 at the Colombo University Ground from 0700 Hrs to 1700 Hrs and expecting of 350 pax , under the
UNWTO theme of “ Tourism for All - Promoting Universal Accessibility”. The main purpose of organizing this UN-WTO Tourism Day celebration is to provide a platform for academics and professionals to make a valuable contribution for the development of tourism in Sri Lanka through integrating and networking with the key stakeholders of the industry.
