The sustainable development of special economic zones begins with a solid foundation of policy understanding and strategic foresight. In this spirit, Savan Park was deeply honored to be invited to participate in the “Special Economic Zones (SEZs) Promotion for Intra-regional Trade in the Lancang-Mekong Region Project: 2nd Regional Training cm Workshop on Promotion of Special Economic Zones in the Lancang-Mekong Region”, held from 17–19 November 2025.
This participation provided Savan Park with an exceptional opportunity to strengthen our knowledge in key areas, including emerging regional policies, future-oriented strategies, enhanced investment incentives, and the latest trends in special economic zone development across the Lancang-Mekong sub-region.
Of particular importance were the in-depth sessions on Green Special Economic Zones and carbon-management frameworks for sustainable investment — critical pillars that will define the future of responsible economic growth.
A highlight of the workshop was the focused discussion on Strategies for inter-agency coordination and resolving planning/coordination issue In this session, Mr. Tee Chee Seng , representing Savan Park, was given the floor to share our proven One-Stop Service (OSS) Model. Having successfully implemented this system for Savan Park’s OSS effectively eliminates bureaucratic bottlenecks by serving as a single point of contact for investors across multiple government agencies. Mr. Tee’s presentation was well received and is expected to serve as a practical, replicable blueprint for other economic zones in the region facing similar coordination challenges.
Beyond the technical knowledge gained, the event powerfully reaffirmed the warm, enduring bonds among all Lancang-Mekong partners. Despite geographical distances, the spirit of friendship, trust, and mutual support within this regional family remains as strong and heartfelt as ever.

Between November 15-18, 2025, Savan Park Company is honored to have been invited by LAO TELECOM Company to participate in the seminar under the theme “AI For Business”, aimed at learning, enhancing understanding, and adapting to advanced technological systems.

On behalf of Savan Park, we are deeply honored to have received the Lao Business Leader Award at the National Assembly Conference Hall, Vientiane Capital, under the auspices of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI).

The ceremony took place on November 14, 2025, marking the 35th anniversary of the Lao Business Leader Award. The event was graced by the presence of numerous leading corporations and distinguished guests. It was officially opened by H.E Mr. Sonexay SIPHANDONE, Prime Minister of Lao PDR. This year, Savan Park was proudly selected as one of the recipients of this prestigious national award. The honor was personally bestowed by Mr. Malaythong KOMMASITH Minister of Ministry of Industry and Commerce. On November 13, 2025, Savan Park are honored to welcome the committee from the delegation of the Deputy Minister of Technology and Communications, Mr.Santisouk SIMMALAVONG as well as to facilitate the visit to the Special Economic Zone office in Savannakhet Province.
During the visit to the Special Economic Zone in Savannakhet Province, there were joint discussions to report on progress, along with deliberations on various issues, such as those related to labor and investment. Additionally, solutions were explored together, and strengths were enhanced in the use of technology to maximize benefits in carrying out the organization's missions.
In the final part of the visit, the delegation of the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Technology and Communications toured the area in the Dry Port, the international checkpoint border in Savannakhet Province, and also visited factories under the investment networks of Cvilux and Acon companies, which are major giants in production capacity and investment within the Special Economic Zone in Savannakhet Province.

Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Saleumxay KOMMASITH, who is in charge of economic affairs, on Friday 26th Sep 2025 led a delegation to visit the Savannakhet Special Economic Zone C - Savan Park and Savannakhet Dry Port, to observe progress made in connectivity and services.
The delegation was welcomed by the Chief Executive Officer of Savan Logistics Sole Co., Ltd, Mr. Jean Pierre Grzelczyk; Executive Director of Savan Logistics, operator of Savannakhet Dry Port, Mr. Tee Chee Seng; and the Director of Laocharoen Infrastructure Development Co., Ltd, Mr. Sisoulinh SOKXAY.

On 15th Aug 2025, the visit of the Ambassador of the European Union to Lao PDR, H.E Mr. Mark Gallagher visited Savannakhet Special Economic Zone C - Savan Park and Savannakhet Dry Port.
The ambassador was welcomed by the Deputy Director of Savannakhet Special Economic Zone Authority, Mr. Anousone PHIMMASANE; Managing Director of Savan Park SEZ, Dato' Lee Wai Kok; and Executive Director of Savan Logistics Operator-Savannakhet Dry Port, Mr. Tee Chee Seng.
During the visit, Ambassador Gallagher was briefed on Savan Park's strategic location along the East-West Economic Corridor, ongoing infrastructure upgrades, and investment potential in manufacturing, logistics, and sustainable industries.

The visit of The Australian Ambassador to Laos H.E Ms. Megan Jones and Business Delegates to Savannakhet Special Economic Zone C - Savan Park And Savannakhet Dry Port.

The visit was aimed at exploring investment opportunities at Savan Park.

The Australian delegations was welcomed by Chief Executive Director of SEZA, Dr. Thanongsai SOUKKHAMTHAT, Executive Director of Savan Park, Mr. Tee Chee Seng and Chief Executive Officer of Savan Logistics Sole Co., Ltd. Mr. Jean Pierre Grzelczyk.

Mr. Tee Chee Seng provided an overview of the departure and entry system at the Second Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge and logistics operations at Savannakhet Dry Port. He highlighted the use of a transparent, secure and modern system to ensure efficiency in payment verification processes.

New Bonded Access Road, Checkpoints Strengthen Savannakhet's Role as Logistics Hub

A new road and cargo checkpoints connecting the 2nd Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge (Savannakhet-Mukdahan) to Savannakhet Dry Port and Savannakhet Special Economic Zone are now officially open, further enhancing trade efficiency and logistics services in the region.

A religious ceremony to inaugurate the road took place on the morning of February 6, attended by the Vice Governor of Savannakhet Province, Ph.D. Senesak SOULYSAK; Executive Director of Savan Pacifica Development Co., Ltd (Savan Park Zone C), Mr. Tee Chee Seng; CEO of Savan Logistics, Mr. Jean Pierre GRZELCYK; and Director of Lao Charoen Infrastructure Development Co., Ltd, Mr. Sisoulinh SOKXAY, along with high-ranking executives from the private sector in Savannakhet Province.

The project is now complete and fully operational, providing services to all logistics providers.
