Hey MTB fans!

Entry for the 2026 Safari Epic are now officially OPEN. Taking place over the Madaraka holiday weekend (28th May to the 1st June) you can enter at the website https://www.safariepic.com/

Expect a full-spectrum Kenyan MTB terrain feast: One day you're ripping across open savannah past herds of wild animals, the next you're weaving through woodland, forest, heathland and moorland.

Long climbs. Punchy ascents. Flowing descents. Fast-paced tracks. Technical challenges. The 2026 Safari Epic has it all.

From Laikipia's sweeping plains to the lofty slopes of Mt. Kenya — from 3,354m above the tree line down to 1,045m at desert level — this is 300+ kilometers of terrain that keeps you grinning.

Hello again, it’s been a while. Save the dates because Safari Epic is back in 2026 from 28th May to 1st June. The Epicness is real. Some new routes and stages as well as the old favourites.
Entries will open first week of January 2026. Stay tuned.

Safari Epic saw a monumental effort from Bhavesh on Sunday afternoon. At 5PM, 10 hours after the race start, after being caught in the afternoon rain going down the crater, he made it home 🏁.

We checked in with him at Waterpoint 2, but Bhavesh - smiling as ever - refused a drive home and continued his ride 🚵.

He didn’t give in when things got tough and made it to the finish line, where he was greeted by a big welcoming committee - job well done Bhavesh! 👏

With our 2025 edition now over, we want to take a moment to express a big thank you to all of our crew taking care of our riders ♥️!

From the chef & his kitchen team providing endless nutritious meals👨‍🍳, to the rangers, opening- and closing moto for keeping us safe🏍️, the medics on sight for any first aid support ⛑️, the waterpoint station teams for all the top-ups you needed 💦 on course, the bike mechanics keeping your bikes clean and working 🚲 to angel Grace releasing tense muscles 💆‍♀️.

The final stage, ‘plains and games’, was exactly that - a cherry on the cake after some tough days of riding!

Our riders were all finished by 11 AM to enjoy a well-deserved celebratory BBQ 🍗🍾!
