At The People Dialogue Festival 2026 Trans Nzoia County Edition, families showed up with parents, children, grand children and in-laws, reminding us that democracy belongs to every generation. 💙 We are deeply honored that entire families continue to find the People Dialogue Festival worth their time, and we do not take that trust for granted.

At CMD Kenya, we remain committed to providing neutral, inclusive spaces where all citizens, regardless of age, background, political affiliation, or any other identity, can come together to listen, speak, learn, and shape the conversations that define Kenya's democratic future. As our slogan goes “igniniting Africa’ s next leap”, it was an opportunity to ignite this to TransNzoia. One thing was evident...

Transitioning from microcredit to true market power in TransNzoia requires scaling past simple survival loans. It involves moving toward cooperative marketing, value addition, and direct policy advocacy to bypass exploitative brokers and predatory lenders. This can only be achieved through democratic governance.
