We are thrilled to announce Elizabeth Musanga as one of the speakers at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Blantyre, Malawi.

Elizabeth Musanga is a Product Design Consultant and Senior Product Designer focused on Bitcoin UX and designing products that make financial sovereignty more accessible. Her work sits at the intersection of product design, open-source technology and Bitcoin, with a particular focus on simplifying complex experiences such as self-custody, payments and transaction flows.

She has contributed to open-source Bitcoin design initiatives, led UX audits and developed scalable design systems for Bitcoin products across mobile and web. She is also exploring how AI can be used to improve Bitcoin user experiences, from simplifying complex workflows to helping make Bitcoin products more intuitive and accessible. Based in Nairobi, Elizabeth is passionate about building Bitcoin products that are practical, user-centred and relevant to users across Africa.

We are excited to announce Barakana Guy-Eudes as one of the speakers at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Blantyre, Malawi.

Barakana is a Burundian Bitcoiner, cypherpunk, and Bitcoin educator, and the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Free Tech Institute (FREETI), a non-profit organization focused on advancing Bitcoin education and adoption in Burundi through initiatives such as BitDevs and BTC Shule.

He is also the Founder, COO & Chief Brand & Image Officer of Bitlibera, a non-KYC Bitcoin wallet designed for the Burundian market, enabling seamless transactions between Bitcoin Lightning and Lumicash without requiring an account or KYC.

Barakana also serves as the Country Representative of Trezor Academy Burundi and has participated in international Bitcoin conferences, including TBD by Trezor in the Czech Republic.

We are excited to announce Charles J. Kelly as one of the speakers at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Blantyre, Malawi.

Charles J. Kelly, CPA is an entrepreneur, business consultant, Bitcoin educator, and author of Bitcoin & Black America 2 who focuses on using technology to strengthen economic connections across Africa and the global Black diaspora. Through his consulting business, he works with skilled Kenyan professionals in areas such as bookkeeping, virtual assistance, website development, content curation, and social media management, while helping businesses operate more efficiently across borders. Bitcoin is a practical part of that model: CJ uses it to transact globally, including for payroll and cross-border payments, because it can reduce friction, move value internationally without relying on traditional banking rails, and be carried securely across borders without transporting physical cash. His work highlights Bitcoin not simply as an investment, but as infrastructure for global commerce, mobility, entrepreneurship, and more direct economic participation.

We are pleased to announce Chanda Chewe as one of the speakers at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Blantyre, Malawi.

Chanda Chewe is a Zambian software developer, Bitcoin builder, open source contributor, and Btrust scholar passionate about advancing Bitcoin adoption across Africa.

He is the builder of Bit2Kwacha, an Android application designed to make Bitcoin more accessible in Africa by enabling users to buy Bitcoin using mobile money and payment cards, sell Bitcoin for local currency, and purchase mobile airtime using Bitcoin. Through Bit2Kwacha, Chanda is focused on creating practical and accessible ways for Africans to use Bitcoin in their everyday lives.

Chanda is also an active contributor to Bitcoin open-source projects, including RoboSats and Polar, and has explored Bitcoin and Lightning infrastructure through hands-on development. As a Btrust Scholar, he continues to deepen his technical knowledge and contribute to the broader Bitcoin open-source ecosystem.

His work sits at the intersection of Bitcoin, open source, and African financial technology, with a focus on building practical tools that can help accelerate Bitcoin adoption across the continent.

We are pleased to announce Bright Kportiklah as one of the speakers at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Blantyre, Malawi!

He is a Ghanaian software developer and Bitcoin builder focused on making Bitcoin practical and accessible across Africa. He is the founder of BitSpenda, a Bitcoin payments platform that enables users to buy and sell Bitcoin and convert Bitcoin to local mobile money across multiple African markets.

Bright has been building Bitcoin payment infrastructure with a particular focus on the intersection of Bitcoin, lightning and mobile money. Through BitSpenda, he has worked on real-world payment solutions serving everyday users and businesses across Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Cameroon.

He also contributes to Bitcoin education and ecosystem development through initiatives such as college BTC and his work with Bitcoin Dua and BitDevs Accra. His interests include Bitcoin payments, Lightning infrastructure, stablecoins, and building financial tools that address the realities of African markets.
