Meet Fella Oke🙌. Founder of Hypen8 and one of our faculty members who will be present at the Convergence Residency 2026!

We are glad to have this amazing entrepreneur on board🤝🏾.
Fela is redefining Africa's entertainment and sports landscape by building systems that move talent from labour to ownership. Through Hypen8, he has created a powerful engine that goes beyond representation into content, distribution and rights, ensuring African stories are not only told, but owned, scaled and exported globally.

At The Convergence Residency 2026, he will bring deep insight into building IP, controlling narratives and unlocking long term value for creators and industries across the world.

Kenya is calling🇰🇪

And this is not something you want to miss.

In just a short while, a select group of leaders will gather at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp, surrounded by still waters, open skies, and the quiet beauty of Kenya’s Rift Valley.🌊

A space where the noise fades.
Where conversations go deeper.
Where you’re not rushing from meeting to meeting—but finally have the time to think, reflect, and connect meaningfully.

This is what The Convergence Residency 2026 is about.💯

Not just sessions, but shared moments.
Not just networking, but real relationships.
Not just learning, but perspective-shifting conversations that stay with you long after you leave.

A room of 30 leaders from across the nonprofit and corporate sectors—coming together to exchange ideas, challenge thinking, and grow.

To learn.
To rest.
To reset.

And the truth is…
experiences like this don’t come often.

You don’t want to be hearing about this later.
You want to be in the room—by the lake, in the conversations, part of what unfolds.

There’s no time, join us now.‼️

Somewhere between breaking news and your group chat reaction is where the best comedy lives.✨

And we want to help you write it.

We’re hosting a 2-day Comedy Writers Workshop for people who want to write satire that actually says something. Sharp, short-form, culturally aware comedy inspired by what’s happening in the world right now.🌎

You’ll learn how to break down a trending story, find the angle nobody else found, structure a tight sketch, and write with the kind of boldness that makes people stop and go — okay, that was good.

🌍 Open to international participants.
🗓️ 2 days. Limited seats.

If this is for you, you already know. Scan the QR code or click the link in bio to register.

Some stories stay with you long after the screen goes off!✨

Today, as part of our activities around Commission on the Status of Women , we screened Mothers of Chibok — a deeply moving film that tells the story of the women whose daughters were taken during the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping.

Beyond headlines and global attention, the film brings us closer to the lived reality of these mothers — their grief, their resilience, and their unwavering hope.💡

Moments like this remind us why it is so important to keep creating spaces where women’s stories are seen, heard, and remembered.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this powerful screening and conversation.👏👏

We look forward to a safer future for women!✨

Have you heard of the Chibok girls kidnapping?
Have you ever wondered how their mothers felt — the fear, the hope, the unimaginable waiting? 💔

Today, as part of and our focus on women’s stories in eliminating violence, we are proud to screen “Mothers of Chibok”

This powerful film tells the story of mothers who refused to be silent, who fought tirelessly for their daughters, and who became voices for justice in the face of overwhelming loss.🥹

It’s a story about grief, resilience, and the courage of women standing up against violence. The screening is not just about witnessing their journey — it’s about reflecting on how stories like these can inspire action and change.

Yesterday we convened an important panel bringing together voices committed to advancing conversations around gender equality, justice, and the realities women continue to face across the world.🌎

It was a powerful discussion filled with honest perspectives, lived experiences, and thoughtful reflections on the work that still lies ahead.💯

Grateful to our incredible panelists , our moderator, Angela Perry and everyone who joined the conversation.🗣️

Spaces like this remind us that meaningful change begins with courageous dialogue.
