It was a fantastic day when Miritini ward managed to be the host of Taekwondo events since Kenya got independence. The event was held at Miritini Complex High School. The young boy in red from Miritini training at Miritini World Bank primary-Kenya by the name Hamisi who is a total orphan defeated his opponent.

The match of Shimanzi Fc versus Mwatate All-stars played today at home ground of Shimanzi FC. The Mwatate All-stars player in green jersey by the name Mohammed Mlaghe proved opponent team Shimanzi that they traveled all the way from Taita Taveta county to win the match. Mohammed scored the goal vide penalty caused by Shimanzi defender who recklessly tackled attacker from behind inside penalty area. The match was played at Makande primary school ground in Mombasa ended 0-1 in favour of Mwatate.
