The 5th edition of the Piny Luo Festival has drawn to a successful close after three remarkable days of cultural expression, community renewal, and meaningful engagement. The festival once again affirmed our shared values of togetherness and the strength found in the Luo community’s diversity of ideas and perspectives.

At the grand finale, officiated by H.E. President William Ruto, I took the opportunity to call for the shaping of a renewed national identity—one anchored in unity, tolerance, justice, and forward-looking leadership. Central to this vision is the deliberate inclusion of women in leadership spaces, recognizing their vital role in driving sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
