Here are 5 simple ways to improve and protect your voice as a chorister.

Your singing voice is a gift, so please take care of it well. 🎶

1. Sing for at least 15 minutes every day.
Small daily practice can help your voice grow stronger and more confident.

2. Speak gently and avoid unnecessary shouting.
Your voice is not microphone testing equipment. Use it with wisdom. 🙂

3. Drink warm water regularly.
A well-hydrated voice is usually a happier voice.

4. Avoid foods and drinks that irritate your throat.
Know your body and reduce anything that makes your voice rough or uncomfortable.

5. Say NO to alcohol.
Except in special medical cases where your doctor gives clear advice, please protect your voice.

Take care of your voice and it will serve you well in rehearsals, Mass, concerts, and every beautiful song you sing. 🎵
