Bridging Horizons: Indian International Students—Industry Networking 2025 🇮🇳🤝🇯🇵
The first annual edition of “Bridging Horizons: Indian International Students—Industry Networking” was successfully held on October 12, 2025, at KIITO Cafe, Kobe.
The event was jointly organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce Japan (ICCJ) and the Consulate General of India, Osaka-Kobe.
The gathering brought together the Consul General of India, senior officials from the Osaka Prefectural Government, representatives from leading Japanese recruitment companies, and Indian students from eight universities across the Kansai region.
The program commenced with Welcome Greetings by the ICCJ President, Mr. Paramjit Chadha followed by a Keynote Address by the Consul General of India, Mr. Chandru Appar.The event was hosted by ICCJ Secretary, Dr. Chaitanya Bhandare.
Company representatives shared valuable insights into career pathways and hiring practices, followed by an interactive Q&A session where students actively engaged with specific queries. The discussions continued informally over a networking lunch, allowing students to build personal connections with industry professionals.
Special thanks are extended to the Consul General of India for his continued support and encouragement, which played a vital role in the success of this inaugural initiative.
Appreciation is also conveyed to the Osaka Prefectural Government, participating universities, partner companies, and the many students whose enthusiastic involvement made this platform meaningful.
This event marks the beginning of an annual bridge between Indian talent in Japan and the evolving needs of Japanese industry.
