We are a devised theatre workshop company that offers a platform for aspiring artists
(experienced or not) and performance-enthusiasts in Japan to be exposed to different
styles of performance, methods of actor training and devised theatre techniques, in
hopes of creating original performances that respond to the contemporary concerns of
today. In response to the successful open-cl
ass theatre workshops that ran from
September-December 2013, we have constructed a 12-week intensive program that
allows the participants to devise performances with professional guidance as well as
production assistance such as the organization of performance space, rehearsal studio,
headshot photo-session, and performance tools (scenography, props and FOH). As we welcome participants from all over the world, our bilingual TDT workshop
leader is going to conduct all workshops in both Japanese and English. We believe
that we can use theatre as a tool for cultural and social exchange as well as making
original theatrical works. What is devising???

東京創作劇２０１４
２０１３年９月にスタートした東京創作劇。毎週日曜日に目黒のダンススタジオにて経験／無経験関係なくダンサー、役者の卵、学生、演劇ファン、パフォーマンスアートに興味がある人を招待しオープンクラス形式で創作ワークショップを開催してまいりました。
今回 東京創作劇２０１４では体験者のご要望に答えて、１２週間の創作劇ログラムに基づき、色々なパフォーマンススタイル、創作テクニック、役者トレーニング法を学びながら最終日のショーケースに向けて作品を創作します。参加者はワークショップリーダーのサポートのもとグループ内でカンパニーを作り１２週間をかけて作品を作ります。
