About TED
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 26 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. At TED, the world's leading thinkers and doers are asked to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Ric

hard Branson, Benoit Mandelbrot, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Isabel Allende and former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Two major TED events are held each year: The TED Conference takes place every spring in Long Beach, California (along with a parallel conference, TEDActive, in Palm Springs), and TEDGlobal is held each summer in Edinburgh, Scotland. TED’s media initiatives include TED.com, where new TEDTalks are posted daily; the new TED Conversations, enabling broad conversations among TED fans; and the Open Translation Project, which provides subtitles and interactive transcripts as well as the ability for any TEDTalk to be translated by volunteers worldwide.

4月11日、京都外国語大学で開催されましたTEDxKyoto Salonにお越しいただいた皆様、ありがとうございました！
今回はTEDTalkの鑑賞から「これからのTEDと世界の動きからみるTEDx」、そして「TEDxKyotoのいままでとこれから」をテーマに、TEDxKyotoの次の一歩を共有し、チーム紹介をさせていただきました。また後半のギャザリングパーティーでは、多くの方々と直接お話しすることができました。ありがとうございます。

Thank you to everyone who joined our TEDxKyoto Salon & Gathering Party, held on April 11 at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies!

We watched a TEDTalk together, explored the future of TED and TEDx in a changing world, and shared what's ahead for TEDxKyoto — along with introducing our teams.

イベントの企画段階から当日の運営まで共に創り上げていく「コアボランティア」メンバーを募集しています。また来週4月11日に京都外国語大学にてTEDxKyoto Salon & ギャザリングパーティーを開催いたします。

コアボランティアへの参加を希望する方はもちろん、TEDxKyotoのボランティア活動に興味がある方、まずは話を聞いてみたいという方も歓迎です。
