Town walking restarted!
Since last fall, foreign visitors have started coming again to the Hakata walking tour “Burabura Fukuoka” that I run.
Most of our customers are from South Korea, and we are also increasing from Taiwan and the Philippines.
Far away from America.
I am hoping that it will increase in the spring.

まち歩き再稼働！
私が運営する博多まち歩き「ぶらぶら福岡」に、昨秋から外国からのお客さんが再度来始めました。
今お客さんで多いのは韓国からで、台湾・フィリピンからも増えています。
遠くはアメリカからも。
これから春に向かって増えてくることを期待しています。

台湾からの女子一人旅。初めての日本は、九州旅行。熊本の温泉から福岡へきました。日本語を勉強中で「（結納品）は綺麗で、大好きです」と、日本語で感想を書いてくれました。

しばらくお休みしていた投稿を再スタートします。
今年に入ってフィリッピンからの参加者が増えています。それから遠くはカナダやアメリカからも。
来月からは秋の行楽シーズンを迎えます。色々な国から色々な方をお迎えして、日本の文化の魅力の一端をお伝えしたいと思います。この「ぶらぶら福岡」は、お寺・神社・商店街等行き先別に博多駅からスタートする４コースをご用意しており、日程と好みに合わせて選んで頂けます。お知り合いの外国の方にも是非お知らせ下さい。

台湾から来た新婚さんカップルです。福岡から岡山・大阪へのハネムーンの途中です。
櫛田神社と多川端商店街を回りました。
折から博多の街は、伝統の博多の夏祭り・博多祇園山笠のムード一色です。初めて見る「飾り山」の美しさに魅せられ、「追い山ならし」の舁き山に遭遇し、活気ある男衆の水法被姿に驚いていました。櫛田神社では、参拝前の手洗いの作法を学び、二人の将来を祈って、おみくじもしっかりひいていました。「古い建物を見物し、福岡の歴史を知って面白かったです。又、九州の人は親切で、活力があります。」と、二人は語っていました。
この旅はきっとハネムーンのいい思い出になるでしょう。
They are newly married couple who came from Taiwan.
The middle of the honeymoon to Osaka and Okayama from Fukuoka.
We around together to Kushida Shrine and Hakata Kawabata shopping street.
The town of Hakata is one color of mood of traditional summer festival called Hakata Gion Yamakasa.
Fascinated to see for the first time the beauty of the decorated stationary shrine called Kazariyama,and met with the Yamakasa floats called Kakiyama ( just prcticing for the float racing festival run-in), they were surprised to happi coat appearance of lively men.
In Kushida Shrine, they learned manners of the hand-washing before the worship and prayed for the future of couple and pulled the sacred lot well.
"The sights of the old building, it was interesting to know the history of Fukuoka. In addition, Kyushu people are friendly, there is vitality." They told as　impression of this town walking.
This trip will surely become the good memory of the honeymoon.

A university student who came from Taiwan. To Fukuoka, it seems to be the third visit to Japan next to Tokyo, Kyoto.
On the first day, I guided A course (temple visiting), and second day I guided B course (shrine & shopping street & market).
In the A course, she was surprised at beauty of the betrothal present of Hakata-Sakuara tea shop and the size of the five-storied pagoda and the Fukuoka Great Buddha in the Touchoji temple.
In the B course, she showed a strong interest in the color of Sumiyoshi shrine and a bronze statue of sumo wrestler, and enjoyed the fortune pull of love.
And she had all eyes on the rare fresh fish arranged in Yanagibashi market.
台湾から来た大学生です。福岡へは、東京・京都に次いで三回目の来日だそうです。
初日はＡコース（博多お寺巡り）を、二日目はＢコース（人情商店街巡り）を案内しました。
Ａコースでは、博多茶くら（八女茶専門店）の結納品の美しさや、東長寺の五重の塔や福岡大仏の大きさに驚いていました。
Ｂコースでは、住吉神社の色彩や力士像に強い興味を示し、恋みくじを、楽しみながら引きました。そして柳橋市場に並ぶ珍しい鮮魚に目を見張っていました。

33 Taiwanese Lions Club members participated in the visiting town walk temples course.
Everyone was probably delight in the first kimono form.
A man was probably samurai's feeling, and wasn't a lady feeling of a princess? While walking, everyone was taking a picture extensively here and there in a street corner of the Japanese landscape as well as a temple.
台湾のライオンズクラブメンバー３３名が、まち歩きお寺巡りコースに参加してくれた。
多分初めての着物姿に皆さん大喜びだった。多分男性はサムライの気分、女性はお姫様の気分だったのではないでしょうか。歩く途中で、お寺だけでなく、日本的な風景の街角のあちこちで、皆さん盛んに写真を撮っていました。

Two Chinese students were guided to the A&B course. They are majoring in Japanese culture in graduate school, so they were visiting here and there very eagerly.
中国人留学生二人をA&Bコースに案内しました。彼らは大学院で日本文化を専攻しているので、とても熱心にあちこち見学していました。

It is their impression.
「 During the trip,Ｉheard lots of information of Japanese tea, Shinto, and Buddhism, in particular, those related to Hakata. This trip offered me a window to view both of the present and the past of Hakata, one of the oldest cities in Japan. 」

「We also visited the Hakata Machiya Folk Museum, where I got to know a lot about the contemporary history of Hakata ward. This museum is not very popular among visitors to Fukuoka but without doubt it is worthy of visiting. 」
