「ART POTLUCK, KYOBASHI」がGallery & Bakery Tokyo ８分で9/12より開催中です。

KOSAKU KANECHIKA、小山登美夫ギャラリー、Yutaka Kikutake Galleryの3ギャラリーが参加し、青木豊、名知聡子、楊博の作品を紹介するグループ展。

昨年開催された特別企画「Tokyo Gendai 58min」から派生し、今年はYutaka Kikutake Galleryが新たに参加。「ART POTLUCK」というタイトルは、それぞれが料理を持ち寄る“Potluck”に由来しています。異なる審美眼と作家陣を持つ3つのギャラリーが、それぞれの視点から次世代の才能を“持ち寄る”展覧会です。

光へのまなざしを軸に、世界と絵画の関係や可能性を探る青木豊。名知聡子による油彩作品《秩序》、映画や音楽などのポップカルチャーと、その受容にまつわる距離感をテーマに制作する楊博の作品も登場します。

異なるバックグラウンドを持つ3作家の表現を、一つの空間で見比べられるのも本展の見どころ。京橋で現代絵画の現在に触れられる機会です。

“ART POTLUCK, KYOBASHI” is now on view at Gallery & Bakery Tokyo 8min from Sep 12.

The group exhibition brings together KOSAKU KANECHIKA, TOMIO KOYAMA GALLERY, and Yutaka Kikutake Gallery, presenting works by Yutaka Aoki, Satoko Nachi, and Yang Bo.

Developed from last year’s special project “Tokyo Gendai 58min,” this year’s edition welcomes Yutaka Kikutake Gallery as a new participant. The title “ART POTLUCK” comes from the idea of a potluck gathering, where everyone brings something to share. Here, three galleries with distinct curatorial perspectives and artist rosters each “bring” a next-generation talent to the exhibition.

Yutaka Aoki explores the relationship between painting and the world, with a continuing focus on light and its possibilities. Satoko Nachi is represented by works including the oil painting “秩序,” while Yang Bo creates works that examine the sense of distance surrounding pop culture and its reception, particularly through film and music.

Bringing three distinct artistic perspectives into a single space, the exhibition offers an opportunity to encounter different approaches to contemporary painting in Kyobashi.

「孫家珮展 ― 響きあう水面と静寂 ―」がシルクランド画廊で9/20より開催されます。

ベネチアをはじめ、歴史ある建築と水辺が調和する街並みを描き続ける孫家珮。作品には、名所を行き交う人々の姿ではなく、人や動物、乗り物さえ登場しない静謐な時間が広がります。

昔この場所に暮らした人々と、同じ海や水路を眺める現代の私たち。その眼差しが時を越えて重なり合うような、やすらぎと懐かしさに満ちた油彩作品を楽しめる展覧会です。シルクランド画廊では24回目となる個展となります。

“Jiapei Sun Exhibition — Resonating Water and Silence —” will be on view at SILKLAND GALLERY from Sep 20.

Jiapei Sun depicts picturesque waterside cities where historic architecture and tranquil scenery coexist, including Venice and other locations that have inspired his work. Rather than showing the crowds that usually fill these famous destinations, his landscapes are marked by a profound stillness, often without people, animals, or vehicles.

Looking across the same seas and waterways once seen by those who lived there centuries ago, viewers are invited to experience a sense of connection across time. Through his oil paintings, Sun evokes quiet moments filled with nostalgia, serenity, and warmth. This exhibition marks his 24th solo exhibition at SILKLAND GALLERY.

安達響、白谷琢磨、瀬戸優、山田歩によるグループ展「SHAFT 2」が四季彩舎で9/4より開催中です。

「SHAFT」は、彫刻家・瀬戸優がキュレーターを務め、次世代の彫刻家を紹介しながら、世代や素材、表現を越えた交流を通して現代彫刻の魅力と可能性を探る企画展。第2回となる今回は、白谷琢磨、山田歩、安達響、瀬戸優の4名が参加しています。

大理石を用い生命の痕跡や時間を探る安達響、檜や漆、岩絵具を用いて折り紙のかたちを彫刻へと昇華する白谷琢磨、テラコッタで野生動物を表現する瀬戸優、木彫を通して不可視の力や存在の視覚化を試みる山田歩。それぞれ異なる素材やテーマを持ちながら、表現の根底にある揺るがない「軸」が、多様な彫刻作品へとつながっています。

会場では、4名の出展作家による特別対談を収録した冊子も配布。現代彫刻の新たな可能性と、それぞれの作家ならではの個性に触れられる展覧会です。

“SHAFT 2,” a group exhibition featuring Hibiki Adachi, Takuma Shiratani, Yu Seto, and Ayumu Yamada, is currently on view at SHIKISAISHA from Sep 4.

Launched in 2024 and curated by sculptor Yu Seto, SHAFT introduces emerging sculptors while encouraging dialogue across generations, materials, and artistic approaches. Its second edition brings together four sculptors whose practices explore distinctly different materials and themes.

Hibiki Adachi works primarily with marble, exploring traces of life and layers of time within stone. Takuma Shiratani transforms origami-inspired forms into enduring sculptures using Japanese cypress, urushi lacquer, and mineral pigments. Yu Seto creates terracotta sculptures of wild animals informed by his interest in natural science, while Ayumu Yamada uses woodcarving to give form to invisible forces and presences.

Despite their different approaches, each artist’s practice is grounded in a strong individual “shaft” or core. A complimentary booklet featuring a special roundtable discussion with the four participating artists is also available at the venue.

「日高理恵子」展が小山登美夫ギャラリー京橋で9月26日（土）より開催されます。

40年にわたり、木や枝、葉を見上げ、その先に広がる空との関係を描き続けてきた日高理恵子。本展は京橋・六本木の2会場で同時開催され、同ギャラリーでは8年ぶり6度目の個展となります。

今回は、2025年に多摩美術大学アートテークギャラリーで開催された退任展の出展作を展示。自然光の広い空間で見せた作品が、異なる光や空間を持つギャラリーでどのように見え、感じられるのかを探ります🌿

枝葉の精緻な描写に加え、見上げる身体感覚や空、光、時間まで重ね合わせた日高の絵画。岩絵具や胡粉による独特の質感とともに、木々の向こうへ続く奥行きを感じられます。

“Rieko Hidaka” will be on view at Tomio Koyama Gallery Kyobashi from Sep 26 (Sat).

For over 40 years, Hidaka has explored trees, branches, leaves, and the vast sky beyond them. This exhibition presents works from her 2025 retirement exhibition, reconsidered within a gallery space with different light and scale.

「生誕140周年記念藤田嗣治作品展」が翠波画廊で9月18日（金）より開催されます。

日本の繊細な線描と西洋の油彩技法を融合させ、1920年代のパリで活躍した藤田嗣治。本展では生誕140周年を記念し、その芸術観と卓越した技巧を伝える選りすぐりの作品を集めた特別販売会が行われます🖼️

藤田を象徴する「乳白色の肌」と面相筆による繊細な輪郭線が際立つ女性像をはじめ、愛らしい猫や子どもを描いた作品など、多彩な世界を紹介。なかでも、静物画における乳白色の表現を追求した希少な《人形のある静物》は注目の一作です。

さらに、生涯を通じて手掛けた版画や挿画本から、晩年の代表作のひとつ「魅せられし河」シリーズも展示。油彩から版画まで、藤田ならではの優美な線と独自の美意識を幅広く楽しめる機会です✨

“Tsuguharu Fujita Exhibition: Commemorating the 140th Anniversary of His Birth” will be on view at Gallery SUIHA from Sep 18 (Fri).

Tsuguharu Fujita became a celebrated figure in 1920s Paris by combining the delicacy of Japanese linework with Western oil-painting techniques. Commemorating the 140th anniversary of his birth, this special exhibition and sale brings together a selection of works that showcase his distinctive artistic vision and remarkable technique 🖼️

The exhibition features Fujita’s signature female figures, characterized by his celebrated milky-white surfaces and delicate outlines drawn with Japanese brushes, alongside charming depictions of cats and children. A particular highlight is “Still Life with Doll,” a rare work in which Foujita explored his distinctive milky-white expression through still-life painting.

Also on view are prints and works from illustrated books created throughout his career, including pieces from “La Rivière Enchantée,” one of his important later series. 「斎藤真一の世界展」が不忍画廊で9月10日（木）より開催されます。

斎藤真一は1922年に岡山県倉敷市に生まれ、1959〜60年に渡欧。ミニバイクでヨーロッパ各地を巡ったのち、帰国時に敬愛する藤田嗣治から東北を訪れるよう勧められました。青森で偶然知った、盲目の女性旅芸人「瞽女（ごぜ）」との出会いは、その後の制作を大きく方向づけることになります。

本展では、美術館での回顧展にも出品された初期代表作《賭博》、珍しい佳品《西頚城の少女》、「昭和ロマン」シリーズの秀作《紅い灯の部屋》、最晩年の大作など、不忍画廊で初公開となる作品を多数展示。

「瞽女」「さすらい」「昭和ロマン」と、初期から晩年まで各時代の作品が揃うミニ回顧展として、斎藤真一の画業をたどることができます。貴重な資料や作品集、絶版ポスターなども紹介されます🎨

“The World of Shinichi Saito” will be on view at SHINOBAZU GALLERY from Sep 10 (Thu).

Born in Kurashiki, Okayama, in 1922, Shinichi Saito traveled to Europe from 1959 to 1960, journeying across the continent on a small motorbike. Before returning to Japan, he visited the studio of Tsuguharu Foujita, whom he deeply admired, and was encouraged to travel to Akita and the Tohoku region.

After returning to Japan, Saito visited Aomori, where he first learned about the goze—blind female itinerant musicians. His encounter with goze performer Kikui Sugimoto left a profound impression on him, and the subject became a lifelong theme in his work.

This exhibition presents numerous works being shown at the gallery for the first time, including the early masterpiece “Gambling,” which has appeared in museum retrospectives, the rare “Girl of Nishi-Kubiki,” the notable “Room with a Red Light” from his Showa Romance series, and a large-scale work from the final years of his life.

Bringing together works from his Goze, Wandering, and Showa Romance periods, the exhibition serves as a compact retrospective spanning Saito’s career from his early years to his later period. Rare archival materials, publications, and out-of-print posters are also on view 🎨

「丸山友紀展 ― 鳥獣園 ―」がシルクランド画廊で9月6日（日）より開催されます。

丸山友紀が描く動物たちが、生命への温かな歓びを宿しながら佇む「鳥獣園」の世界。本展はシルクランド画廊で9回目となる個展です。

2020年の「楽園のダンス」で描かれた嬉々として躍動する動物たち、2023年の「Quiet Garden」で表現された心の深層に浮かぶ静かな情景。今回は、これまでに展開してきたさまざまな世界観が響き合う舞台を、大らかに俯瞰するような眼差しで描き出します。

丸山友紀ならではの金箔地を活かした表現に加え、色彩そのものが持つ豊かさや煌めきを楽しむ新たな試みも見どころ。夢と現実が溶け合うような幻想的な「鳥獣園」の世界を楽しめます🦚✨

“Yuki Maruyama Exhibition — Chōjū-en —” will be on view at SILKLAND GALLERY from Sep 6 (Sun).

In this exhibition, Yuki Maruyama’s animals inhabit the world of “Chōjū-en,” reflecting a warm sense of joy in life. This marks the artist’s ninth solo exhibition at the gallery.

Following the lively animals of “Dance of Paradise” in 2020 and the quiet inner landscapes explored in “Quiet Garden” in 2023, this exhibition brings these different visions together, depicting their shared world from a broad, almost bird’s-eye perspective.

Alongside Maruyama’s distinctive use of gold-leaf backgrounds, the exhibition also explores the richness and brilliance inherent in color itself, inviting visitors into a fantastical realm where dreams and reality seem to merge 🦚✨

染谷悠子「土や星や」が小山登美夫ギャラリー京橋で7月31日より開催予定です🌿

染谷悠子にとって6回目、2年ぶりの個展となる本展では、新作を中心に紹介。岡山の「日置谷」へ制作拠点を移し、山や谷、土に囲まれた生活のなかで生まれた作品が展示されます。

土の中に広がる見えない世界と、星や宇宙を見上げる感覚が響き合うような作品群。和紙を支持体とした新たな制作方法や、大型作品、21年ぶりとなるペインティングなど、染谷悠子の表現の広がりを感じられる展覧会です✨

Yuko Someya’s “Soil and Stars” will be on view at Tomio Koyama Gallery Kyobashi from July 31 🌿

This exhibition marks Yuko Someya’s sixth solo presentation with the gallery, and her first in two years, featuring a selection centered on new works. After relocating her home and studio to Hiokidani in Okayama, Someya has created works shaped by daily life among mountains, valleys, and the soil.

The exhibition reflects a deep connection between the unseen worlds within the earth and the sensation of gazing at stars and the universe. With new approaches using washi paper as a support, large-scale works, and her first paintings in 21 years, “Soil and Stars” offers a compelling look at the expanding scope of Someya’s practice ✨

大田和亜咲宜新作展「ひかりをほどく」が翠波画廊で7月25日（土）より開催されます。

光と影が織りなす日常の風景を、繊細な色彩と独自のまなざしで描く大田和亜咲宜。本展では、移ろいゆく光や影の中に宿る気配、かけがえのない時間をテーマに制作した新作を発表します。

「ひかりをほどく」をテーマにした新作13点をはじめ、100号の大作から暮らしに取り入れやすい小品まで、約20点を展示・販売。見る人の記憶や感情に寄り添う、静かで穏やかな光の世界を楽しめます✨

初日の7月25日（土）には作家本人が来場し、水彩の「にじみ絵」で葉や花を描くワークショップも開催されます🎨

“Asagi Otawa New Works Exhibition: Unraveling Light” will be on view at Gallery SUIHA from July 25 (Sat).

Asagi Otawa captures everyday scenes shaped by light and shadow through delicate colors and her distinctive perspective. This exhibition presents new works exploring fleeting changes in light, the subtle presence held within shadows, and irreplaceable moments in time.

The presentation features approximately 20 works, including 13 new pieces created under the theme “Unraveling Light,” ranging from a large-scale No. 100 painting to smaller works suited for intimate living spaces. Visitors can experience a quiet, luminous world that gently connects with personal memories and emotions ✨

On the opening day, July 25 (Sat), the artist will be present at the gallery, and a watercolor workshop using the “bleeding” technique to paint leaves and flowers will also be held 🎨
