Posa World Pole Art Championship 2020

Following the announcement from the International POSA Federation we inform you that after a careful evaluation of the situation, the World Pole art Championship planned on 7/8 November 2020 has been cancelled.
Unfortunately, the global situation prevents many athletes from reaching Italy to take part in this competition.
We are sure that in the future we will have again the possibility to host the best international pole dance athletes in our beautiful territory.
Athletes who have paid the registration are kindly requested to contact us to get a refund.
We would like to thank the municipal administration of Comune di Viareggio, the sports promotion agency ACSI LUCCA, our sponsor APOLE pole dance articles and and all the judges.

📢Important notice:

After careful evaluation of the situation of the world pandemic, we have decided that, we are forced to cancel all our international competitions, namely the World Pole Art Championship 7/8 November 2020 and the Pole Sport World Championship of 27-28-29 November 2020.

Unfortunately, the global situation prevents many athletes from reaching Italy to take part in these competitions.

We are sorry about this situation, It is very sad because we have done everything possible to complete these competitions, but unfortunately the pandemic from Covid 19, does not allow the vast majority of our athletes around the world to travel.

In the coming days, all our national federations will receive all the information for the 2021 world competitions.

We have tried, but we are already at work for 2021!

Dear athletes, registrations are open!!!!
All athletes who have reached the podium in one of the Pole Art Posa 2019 all around the world ( or recived a Posa wild card ) can subscribe!
DEADLINES:
By October 1st payment and presentation of: application form, payment certificate, competitive medical certificate.
By October 15: audio and video delivery (videos must already include music), lights and theme performance form, and ACSI membership registration.

IMPORTANT:
Currently the competition is scheduled on two days, 07 all amateurs category and 08 November all competitive category, with stage reheals on friday 06. We advise that in case of a lower number of participants than expected, also due to possible restrictions on circulation between nations, the performances can be merged in the only day of Saturday 07 November or saturday and sunday morning. This decision will be taken at the deadline for the application on 1st October

Viareggio is a renowned seaside city. Famous also for its carnival in winter, it offers many possibilities of stay, restaurants and entertainment.

• The location will be the enchanting scenery of ''Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini'', located in Torre del Lago (City of Viareggio). The theatre, recently built, is situated directly on the shores of the lake so loved by the famous composer and a few steps from his house, now a museum. The Auditorium Caruso is the multipurpose room located inside the “Gran Teatro”, a modern space equipped with cutting-edge technology, with a capacity of 450 seats.
• The athletes will have at their disposal large changing rooms and a room of about 200 square meters for warm up.
• A huge foyer of over 1200 square meters with exhibition spaces and bars, will welcome athletes, audience and insiders.
