Dal 2017 la cittร  di Venezia presenta The Venice Glass Week: un festival internazionale annuale dedicato a celebrare, promuovere e sostenere l'arte del vetro, con un focus speciale su quella di Murano. Dopo il grande successo dell'edizione straordinaria di The Italian Glass Weeks, torna nel 2023 The Venice Glass Week con un entusiasmante programma di mostre, visite guidate, workshop, dimostrazioni

, conferenze, attivitร  per famiglie e altro ancora (9-17 settembre 2023).

Since 2017 the city of Venice has staged The Venice Glass Week: an annual international festival dedicated to celebrating, promoting and supporting the art of glass, with a particular focus on that of Murano. Building on the success of The Italian Glass Weeks, The Venice Glass Week will return in 2023 with an exciting programme of exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, demonstrations, conferences, family activities and more (9th-17th September 2023)

The application process for is officially closed! Weโ€™re thrilled to announce that this year we received a record number of submissions, with many hundreds of applications arriving from 57 countries around the world. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who applied.

In the coming weeks, our Curatorial Committee will begin reviewing all proposals with great care, selecting the projects that will become part of the 2026 festival programme.

๐Œ๐ข๐ค๐ค๐ž๐ฅ ๐‡๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐  is the Director of Glas - Museet for glaskunst, an international museum of contemporary glass art founded in 1986 in Ebeltoft, Denmark, widely renowned as an experimental platform for the artistic exploration of glass, with an outstanding collection of 1,657 works by artists of 41 nationalities.

He holds a masterโ€™s degree in Art History from Aarhus University, specializing in contemporary art curation. He is a co-founder and former leader of the Association for Contemporary Art and the Regelbau 411 art centre.

In parallel, he has maintained an independent curatorial practice and served as curator at Kunsthal Aarhus. His practice is characterized by curatorial experiments with institutional structures and the development of collective, interdisciplinary collaborations.

Together with the other members of the Curatorial Committee, heโ€™ll be evaluating all of the Applications submitted for .

Il museo รจ noto come piattaforma sperimentale per l'esplorazione artistica del vetro e gestisce una collezione di 1.657 opere di artisti di 41 nazionalitร .

Ha conseguito un master in storia dell'arte presso l'Universitร  di Aarhus, specializzandosi in curatela per lโ€™arte contemporanea. รˆ co-fondatore ed ex leader dell'Associazione per l'arte contemporanea e il centro d'arte Regelbau 411.

Today we introduce you another member of the Curatorial Committee: artist, teacher and curator ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ž ๐‰รธ๐ค๐ž๐ซ ๐‰๐จ๐ก๐ง๐ฌ๐ž๐ง. She is Head of Exhibitions at The Royal Danish Academy, Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen, and Project Director of European Glass and Ceramic Context on Bornholm, Denmark.

As an artist her works explore the specific qualities of glass by applying them to the Scandinavian tradition of decorative design. Her work is in the permanent collections of Designmuseum Denmark, Smรฅlandsmuseet, Glasmuseet Ebeltoft, Hempel Glass Museum, Museum of American Glass and Museum of Glass Tacoma.

He is an art historian and currently serves as the curator of the Glass and Ceramics Collection at MAK - Museum of Applied Arts. He is also the curator of the Josef Hoffmann Museum in Brtnice, Czech Republic, and a professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.

He has curated many exhibitions, including the exhibition ๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜Ž๐˜ญ๐˜ข๐˜ด๐˜ด ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ˆ๐˜ณ๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ด. ๐˜๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข 1900-1937 in 2016 at LE STANZE DEL VETRO in Venice, featuring works by the protagonists of Viennese Modernism from the collection of MAK - Museum of Applied Arts.
