Beyond excited to introduce “La Luce dell’Alba”, an album conceived as an imaginary collaboration between Jolly Mare and Piero Umiliani, made possible by Maestro’s family who granted access to the original multitrack recordings and supervised the entire process, reviewing and validating the resulting compositions throughout.

It’s the first time the original multitrack tapes have been used since Maestro’s last production, creating a symbolic bridge between his final work and contemporaneity. Conceived as a musical relay, the album features rearrangements and overdubs on the source tracks, giving a new dimension to Piero’s genius through the encounter with Jolly Mare musical vision.

The recording took place between legendary Sound Workshop in Rome and Oister Studio in Milan over a span of three years, taking advantage of the unique acoustics and making use of the original instruments and equipment of the former.
“La Luce dell’Alba” will be out June 5 on 42 Records, it is introduced by “Dentro La Notte, La Luce dell’Alba”, a 6:35 min suite narrating the transition from night to sunrise.
