Maestro Pasquale Iannone

We are honoured to welcome Maestro Pasquale Iannone as President of the Jury of the next edition of the La Palma d’Oro International Piano Competition.

An internationally acclaimed pianist and teacher, Maestro Iannone will bring his artistic authority, experience and musical vision to the Competition.

The next edition will also feature a highly prestigious Final Round with orchestra, giving finalists the opportunity to perform the first movement of a Beethoven Piano Concerto.

We are proud to announce that Artem Kuznetsov, First Prize winner of the 2025 La Palma d’Oro International Piano Competition, will perform at the opening concert of Civitanova Classica Piano Festival.

The concert, offered as part of the prize awarded to the winner of La Palma d’Oro, will take place on:

Artem Kuznetsov, who was awarded the €5,000 scholarship at La Palma d’Oro 2025, will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat major, Op. 19, together with the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, conducted by Juan José Navarro.

A prestigious occasion that confirms the mission of La Palma d’Oro: to support young international talents and offer them real opportunities to perform on important concert stages.

Protagonista della serata sarà l’Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, diretta dal maestro Juan José Navarro, interprete di grande esperienza e rigore. In programma due capolavori assoluti: il Concerto per violino e orchestra Op. 61, luminoso e profondamente umano, e il Concerto per pianoforte e orchestra n. 2 Op. 19, opera giovanile ma già carica dell’energia e dello spirito beethoveniano.

A dar voce a queste pagine straordinarie saranno due solisti d’eccezione: il violinista Edwin Eungsoo Kim, espressione della grande scuola coreana, e il pianista Artem Kuznetsov, vincitore del Concorso Internazionale La Palma d’Oro 2025, giovane talento già affermato nel panorama concertistico.

Un inizio che unisce tradizione e visione, talento e passione, e che conferma Civitanova Classica come uno degli appuntamenti musicali più significativi del territorio.

🎹 The 10th Edition — A New Artistic Dimension

The La Palma d’Oro International Piano Competition announces the opening of applications for its 10th edition, to be held during the last weekend of September 2026.

Over the past decade, the competition has steadily pursued a clear artistic vision: to foster excellence and to offer meaningful international opportunities to emerging pianists.

On the occasion of this significant milestone, a major new element will define this edition:

✨ The Final Round will be performed with Orchestra.

This development marks an important step in the evolution of the competition, elevating its artistic scope and offering finalists the opportunity to perform within a full concert framework.

Applications are now officially open.

🎹 La Palma d’Oro Piano Competition – First Round Schedule 🎶
We’re ready to begin!

Here is the audition schedule for the First Round, taking place at Teatro Concordia in San Benedetto del Tronto from September 26 to 28.

📍 Teatro Concordia – Largo Mazzini 1

🕒 All candidates must arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled
performance time.

🎧 A Clavinova will be available at the venue for warm-up.

🎹 Practice rooms with acoustic pianos will be open at Istituto Vivaldi, Via Leopardi 23, with the following timetable:

- Thursday 25th: from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Friday 26th and Saturday 27th: from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Sunday 28th: from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
