TID is part of the rich bill of events organized by the Port Network Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea to commemorate the institution of the Free Port on the part of Emperor Charles VI in 1719.

TID, much like our port, is a constantly growing international model of connectivity that can bring together people and ideas in a central, creative incubator, where inspiration does not stand still, but is instead projected onto an increasingly wider European and global hinterland. Thanks to the Trieste Intermodal Day we hope to involve, inspire, provide food for thought, and promote new opportunities through an event that we felt was ideal for celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Free Port, a place that has always linked together people, visions, ideas, and business deals."
