Il 18 e il 19 maggio abbiamo partecipato al Kickoff meeting del progetto Safe Host a Cipro.
CODECA – Center for Social Cohesion, Development and Care, ha coordinato l'incontro di lancio (kickoff meeting) per il progetto SafeHost: Enhancing Early GBV Detection in the Hospitality Sector (Migliorare il rilevamento precoce della violenza di genere nel settore dell'ospitalità), finanziato dal Programma CERV dell'Unione Europea.
I partner provenienti da Cipro, Grecia, Italia, Spagna e Danimarca si sono riuniti per due giornate produttive, discutendo tutti i Work Packages (i pacchetti di lavoro) e stabilendo linee guida chiare per le prossime attività e i risultati attesi (deliverables).
SafeHost promuove la dignità umana, l'uguaglianza e la sicurezza delle persone più vulnerabili attraverso:
1️⃣ La mappatura delle pratiche e delle barriere nei settori dell'ospitalità e delle ONG.
2️⃣ La co-progettazione di un programma di formazione modulare per il personale di prima linea del settore alberghiero.
3️⃣ La formalizzazione di partnership e protocolli di segnalazione con oltre 60 hotel.
4️⃣ Il lancio di un'app mobile multilingue dotata di un chatbot AI e di una dashboard per le segnalazioni.
5️⃣ L'attuazione di una campagna di sensibilizzazione multilingue rivolta agli ospiti e al pubblico.

1st Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of SafeHost in Cyprus!
From May 18-19, CODECA – Center for Social Cohesion, Development and Care, proudly coordinated the kickoff meeting for the SafeHost project: Enhancing Early GBV Detection in the Hospitality Sector, funded by the European Union’s CERV Programme.
Partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Denmark came together for two productive days, discussing all Work Packages and setting clear guidelines for upcoming tasks and deliverables.
SafeHost promotes human dignity, equality, and the safety of the most vulnerable by:
1️⃣ Mapping practices and barriers across hospitality and NGO sectors
2️⃣ Co-developing a modular training programme for frontline hospitality staff
3️⃣ Formalising partnerships and referral protocols with over 60 hotels
4️⃣ Launching a multilingual mobile app with an AI chatbot and referral dashboard
5️⃣ Implementing a multilingual awareness campaign targeting guests and the public
