ITA: Alpecimbra Fis Children Cup nasce da lontano
La manifestazione venne ufficialmente riconosciuta gara FIS
(1970) e da allora, mentre diminuì sensibilmente il numero
dei concorrenti, aumentò con impressionante crescendo la
partecipazione delle Nazioni, attestatasi negli ultimi anni attorno
alla quarantina. Dopo quelli già segnalati, ne ricordiamo alcuni dei più illustri in
ordine di tempo: Mar
ia Rosa Quario, Daniela Zini, Paola Magoni,
Sabina Panzanini, Deborah Compagnoni, Isolde Kostner, e, fra
le straniere, Carole Merle, Doris De Agostini, Hanny Wenzel, Elfi
Eder, Pernilla Wiberg, Anita Wachter, Petra Kronberger, Renate
Goetschl, Picabo Street, Katia Seizinger e molte altre. Fra i maschi, Marc Girardelli, Patrick Ortlieb, Pírmin Zurbriggen,
Thomas Stangassinger, Rudolf Nierlich, Stefan Elberharter,
Sebastien Amiez, Markus Wassmeier, Bojan Krizay, Rok
Petrovic, Jure Kosir e anche Alberto Tomba nel 1980. Da alcuni anni il Comitato Organizzatore, di cui è Presidente
Onorario Rolly Marchi, è una struttura permanente che
gestisce l’avvenimento nell’arco dei dodici mesi,

The sporting event was officially recognized as
FIS competition in 1970. If, on the one hand, a remarkable drop in
the number of the participants has been registered ever since, on the
other hand the number of the nations taking part in it has increased
considerably, and amounts today at about forty. Even more surprising
the number of the who have become real champions. Beside the above-quoted names let us remember some of the most
famous, in order of time: Maria Rosa Quario, Daniela Zini, Paola
Magoni, Sabina Panzanini, Deborah Compagnoni, lsolde Kostner and,
among the foreigners, Carole Merle, Doris De Agostini, Hanny Wenzel,
Elfi Eder, Pernilla Wilberg. Anita Wachter, Petra Kronberger, Renate
Goetschl, Picabo Street, Katia Seizinger and many others. Among
the men, Marc Girardelli, Patrick Ortlieb, Pirmin Zurbriggen, Thomas
Stangassinger, Rudolf Nierlich, Stefan Eberharter, Sebastien Amiez,
Markus Wassmeier, Bojan Krizaj, Rok Petrovic, Jure Kosir and also
Alberto Tomba in 1980. The Organizing Committee, whose honorary president is Rolly Marchi,
has been for some years a permanent structure which administers
this sporting event all the year round.
