Amateur pianists from Europe and America arrive for our traditional evening in collaboration with the PianoLink association. This year, they will tackle music written or popularized in cinema and theatre, featuring unforgettable scenes from films like Death in Venice, The Leopard, and The Legend of 1900. Expect music by Verdi, Morricone, Piovani, Piazzolla, and many more.

PIANO REFLECTIONS AMONG THE BOATS

Renowned Franco-American pianist Andrew von Oeyen will perform a beautiful mix of the German romantic repertoire alongside modern pieces. The program features music by Brahms, Kurtág, Bartók, Newman, and Schumann, including a piece written specifically for him. A highlight will be Béla Bartók's "Out of Doors" suite, an extraordinary milestone in 20th-century piano music.

Before the concert, a free guided tour of the museum will be available starting at 6:30 PM.

It is with great pleasure that we present the program for the 2026 edition of LacMus Festival. The festival will take place from July 6 to 19 and is titled “A Decade of Magic!”

This year, there is no single musical theme as a unifying thread. Instead, the rich and varied program pays tribute to the history of LacMus Festival and to the musical heritage of the Tremezzina area—especially to great composers such as Brahms and Liszt, who stayed here and created remarkable music inspired by these extraordinary places.
