La manifestazione,ha luogo in luglio, in diversi paesi dell'Alto Cadore, creando un percorso musicale di scoperta del territorio, della cultura e della gastronomia. DOLOMITI BLUES&SOUL FESTIVAL
San Vito di Cadore in the heart of the Belluno Dolomite Mountains is the venue of the Dolomiti Blues&Soul Festival. This event takes place in a natural amphitheatre formed by the UNESCO World Heritage Mountains. A moment when art meets art that in a short time, has become an important appointment in the panorama of Afro-American music festivals. Even though the music is the absolute protagonist, a number of secondary collateral events have been added during the years: “L’Arte a Lunga Conversazione” a contemporary art exhibition that also promotes artistic and cultural activities, “Vinile”, a music street market and last but not least evenings of wine-tasting to enjoy both national and local wines. All this makes the Dolomiti Blues&Soul Festival into an important musical and cultural appointment in such a splendid position that it can be said to be unique in all of Italy. Every year the artistic level of the participants is of the highest quality and the same can be said of the typical food and other products that accompany the music. This festival that has often been described as “ the biggest little Italian festival”, takes place in July in various villages of AltoCadore creating a musical trail to explore the culture and the gastronomy of the area. It is an event that must be considered as an important window opening onto this territory and its Dolomite culture when this reality can live and appreciate a modern cosmopolitan musical experience.
