A special release day at SUNANDBASS Recordings as we welcome back Triad with their brand-new single, Heads or Tails / Love Thyself 💜

This release marks their first appearance on the imprint since the 10 Years Selection VA, as well as their return to Drum & Bass after spending years exploring other styles and musical projects.

We’re honoured to present new music from a duo who have been part of the SUNANDBASS family since the early days. It was also a pleasure to have them back in Sardinia in 2025, where they delivered a killer set at Ambra Night.

The pair arrive with a two-track single that showcases both their influences and their craftsmanship as producers. The A-side opens with a soulful, ambient intro before dropping into heavyweight beats built to drive the dancefloor deep into the night. On the flip, a dubbed-out roller channels the classic sound of SAB Recordings, both tracks carrying that unmistakable Triad touch 👑

There’s plenty more to come from the duo, and this is only the beginning.

It’s an immense pleasure to bring the summer vibes of San Teodoro to Berlin and share the special feeling of our week in September. Seeing familiar and new faces alike celebrating drum and bass culture with us is truly heartwarming.

We want to extend a huge thank you to the artists for sharing their unique talents: Kyrist, Mark System, ArpXP, Zar, Hindsight, Benski, Soulsurfer, Trainah, Upzet, and of course the birthday boy Delicat. Also, a massive thanks to the hardworking team at Void Hall who ensured everything ran smoothly and grooved with us.

Finally, a very heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on the night. Your love, enthusiasm and energy was beautifully on display. Seeing the dancefloor so full of colour, vibes and happiness was everything.

This month on the SAB Podcast, we welcome .rain, formerly one half of SpectraSoul, for a soulful summer edition ☀️

This new alias from Dave has been quickly rising within the drum & bass scene, with releases on Flexout Audio, Hospital Records, and Galacy Records. He’s been working with a fresh lineup of vocalists, including Kays, Lauren Walton, and SAB family member Sydney Bryce.

Drawing inspiration from the deeper and more soulful side of the genre, Nixxy Rain incorporates influences from Soul and Motown to create beautiful pieces of music, equally suited to a quiet Sunday afternoon or 5am at a rave 💙

With no sign of slowing down, the artist delivers a mix that’s sure to get us jump-started for the summer ahead.

The countdown is on… this Saturday we’re back at Void, Berlin for our next label night, and we’re excited to introduce the rest of the lineup 🔥

Joining us is Hindsight, BreakThru resident and a versatile selector known for standout sets in Sardinia.

Also on the bill is Benski, SAB resident MC, part of the CLX family, and someone who recently joined us for our Open Ground session.

Soulsurfer, another SAB resident, returns after delivering standout sets in Sardinia year after year, including memorable appearances at Ambra Night and our last Void label night.

Trainah, formerly known as MC Soultrain, is embarking on a new chapter under a new name, making his debut appearance this Saturday.

Delicat, the driving force behind SUNANDBASS, is another top-tier selector who has taken label nights around the world, including Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

Last but not least, Upzet joins us once again. A regular at SUNANDBASS and part of the Void family, he’s no stranger to bringing the energy.

With such a stacked lineup, this is set to be a huge celebration of the imprint and a night not to be missed.

Tokyo, Japan - 20.04.25 🇯🇵❤️

This is where the journey started with our Human Elements crew and where joined the SUNANDBASS Recordings family 👑

We teamed up with for a collaborative event at .tokyo, the first-ever SUNANDBASS appearance in Japan. It marked the beginning of a beautiful connection between our two crews.

Fonts played his debut set for the crews that night, and the very first track he dropped was Hold On Me. From that moment on, whether through sharing meals or spending time together, we built a community that became even stronger than we could have imagined. Not long after, that connection led to a release with the artist.

This Saturday is our next label night, and we’re excited to introduce SUNANDBASS regular , who joins us at Void in Berlin 🖤

Having joined the SUNANDBASS Recordings family in recent years, Zar made his first appearance in Sardinia in 2023, brought out by the crew for their annual Pool Party session at Bal Harbour. Since then, he has released the standout The Soul Marauders EP with and has been working closely with the SUNANDBASS crew, representing the label in cities including Tokyo, Vienna and Ibiza.

Drawing inspiration from jazz, hip hop and soulful rhythms, Zar’s signature sound adds another layer to this Saturday’s session at Void 🔥

This is not one to miss.
