Here we are.
We've reached the thank you notes. This time, however, I hope you'll forgive us, we'd like to say a few more words.
We began this venture called the SPQR Tango Marathon 11 years ago, in 2016, and it has gradually become an adventure. A wonderful adventure. We've always strived to offer a quality product at a reasonable price, to create a friendly, cheerful atmosphere, and to offer accommodations at reasonable prices, as a highly touristic city like Rome can afford.
There have certainly been better editions than others, but what is certain is that we've done everything we can to improve, year after year, thanks also to your feedback.
Now the time has come to take stock. After so many years, we've decided to stop. At least for now, and certainly in our historic location, the Mercure Hotel. This latest edition will remain in our hearts.
So we want to thank everyone, truly everyone, who has always supported us with advice, criticism, by participating every year, and by encouraging us to continue.
Thanks to all the DJs who have performed since the first edition.
A heartfelt thanks also to our staff who have always helped us over the years and, we emphasize, without them there would be no SPQR, because it has always been a team effort.
Will we organize anything else? We don't know, maybe, who knows ;)
For now, we bid you farewell with joy and our usual smile. 🥰
