An American artist in Pietrasanta — at full power.
Dancer, choreographer, performer, and creator, Mikaela Kelly joins the X Edition of DAP Festival for a unique artistic experience between stage, teaching, and cinematic exploration under visionary composer Alexander McKenzie Kammerballetten DK.
On July 4, she will perform and present her choreography at the Chiostro di Sant’Agostino as part of the international evening with Kammerballetten, bringing her powerful presence into one of Pietrasanta’s most iconic spaces.
And beyond the stage, Mikaela will explore the breathtaking Cava delle Cervaiole at , where dance, marble, and landscape will meet in a documentary project with Nordisk TV with

MASTERCLASS WITH PAOLA CANTALUPO at DAP Festival 2026

An opportunity for dancers to study with Paola Cantalupo, Artistic Director of the Jeune Ballet Rosella Hightower, one of Europe’s most prestigious professional training programs. ANTICIPATION, a contemporary ballet choreographed by Claire Mazza & Alejandro Ulloa.

Inspired by the powerful sculptures Waiting for Angels by artist Luca Serasini, the work reflects on the universal human condition of waiting — the silent anticipation for guidance, salvation, or change in times marked by uncertainty and vulnerability.

Through evocative movement and cinematic atmospheres, Anticipation explores the tension between fragility and resilience, questioning how much agency we truly hold over our future, and how hope continues to illuminate even our darkest moments.

A poetic dialogue between dance, sculpture, and emotion, where bodies become living extensions of matter, memory, and desire.

Inspired by the ancient tradition of professional mourners, Le Prefiche follows four women who transform grief into a shared human ritual — giving voice to emotions too often left unspoken. Between lament and tenderness, pain and transcendence, the work becomes an evocative reflection on memory, loss, and the profound need for human connection.

Through haunting physicality, immersive soundscapes, and deeply emotional imagery, the performance invites audiences into a timeless space where mourning becomes a transformation.
