OPEN CALL — INTERFACCIA DIGITALE

Sono aperte le candidature per Interfaccia Digitale, il premio internazionale di videodanza promosso da Hangartfest all’interno di Videobox.

Il premio sostiene la sperimentazione, l’autorialità e i talenti emergenti, promuovendo la coreografia come linguaggio cinematografico autonomo e favorendo il dialogo tra danza, cinema e pratiche audiovisive contemporanee.

Il bando è aperto a coreografi, registi, performer, artisti visivi e creatori interdisciplinari di tutto il mondo di età pari o superiore a 18 anni.

Applications are now open for Interfaccia Digitale, the international videodance award promoted by Hangartfest as part of Videobox.

The award supports experimentation, authorship, and emerging talents, promoting choreography as an autonomous cinematic language and encouraging dialogue between dance, cinema, and contemporary audiovisual practices.

The call is open to choreographers, filmmakers, performers, visual artists, and interdisciplinary creators from around the world aged 18 and over.

Winner of Interfaccia Digitale 2025 award:
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨 / João Sanchez / Portugal

Motivation:
“Finimondo” by João Sanchez captivated us with its acute and unsettling use of black and white and its cinematography, integrated into editing that, together with evocative staging, accurately and intensely rewrites the author’s story. We wish to reward this work for its direction of the actors, which is evident not only in the structure of the movements, capable of creating a choreography that is not strictly dance, but also in the refined interpretation of nightmares and monstrous beings.

• 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 / Pablo Gonzalez Koury
Mention assigned by the Students / Motivation:
The short film “Halocline” was selected by the student jury for its completeness in terms of meaning, addressing a highly topical topic: the pollution of marine environments. The work was excellent from a scenographic and landscape point of view, also demonstrating great coherence between dance and the message conveyed on the complex relationship between man and nature.

Una selezione di film di danza VR a 360° presentati a ZED Festival nel 2025. Un affascinante percorso di scoperta in tre film che raccontano con sguardi, tecniche e strategie molto diverse tra loro come la danza può essere esplorata tramite la tecnologia immersiva del visore VR; e per lo spettatore un’occasione unica per vivere il lavoro coreografico da punti di vista inediti, dove di volta in volta, il tempo, lo spazio, l’intimità e la prossimità diventano dimensioni personali e soggettive.

ZED è un Festival Internazionale di Videodanza dal 2020 raccoglie e propone le migliori produzioni internazionali di film di danza concepiti per essere visibili esclusivamente attraverso l’uso di un visore VR.

E’ uno spazio dedicato agli studenti e alle studentesse del Corso di Animazione della Scuola del Libro di Urbino, che hanno realizzato una serie di sigle animate appositamente per l’edizione 2025 del festival.

Interverranno i professori/esse, gli studenti e le studentesse che racconteranno in prima persona il percorso affrontato: come si sono approcciati/e al linguaggio della videodanza, quali difficoltà e scoperte hanno incontrato, quali processi creativi hanno guidato le loro scelte.

Le sigle sono anche al centro di un piccolo concorso, e domenica alle 10:00, in apertura della giornata conclusiva, sarà annunciata e premiata la sigla vincitrice, selezionata dalla giuria dell’organizzazione e destinata a diventare l’apertura ufficiale di VIDEOBOX 2025.

Un momento per conoscere da vicino le nuove generazioni di creativi/e, scoprire il loro immaginario e condividere il percorso che trasforma un’idea in immagine animata.
