One year after Virginia Giuffre’s death, remember her voice through the words of journalist Amy Wallace, co-author and ghostwriter of Nobody’s Girl.

Speaking at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Wallace reflected on the work of documenting Giuffre’s testimony with accuracy, care, and journalistic rigor.

This excerpt recalls why survivors are so often not believed, and how Jeffrey Epstein allegedly used threats against Giuffre’s younger brother, Sky, to keep her trapped.
