Following two unforgettable editions, the Sicilian SwingAge Festival is embarking on a new chapter: on 9, 10 and 11 April 2027, we look forward to welcoming you to Cefalù for three days of music, dancing, the sea and shared experiences.

The spirit of swing will meet one of Sicily’s most beautiful villages, amongst narrow streets steeped in history, sunsets over the sea and plenty of energy. A journey through time, where tradition and passion come together to create a unique experience.

Dopo due edizioni indimenticabili, il Sicilian SwingAge Festival apre un nuovo capitolo: il 9, 10 e 11 aprile 2027 vi aspettiamo a Cefalù per vivere tre giorni di musica, ballo, mare e condivisione.

Le atmosfere dello swing incontreranno uno dei borghi più belli della Sicilia, tra vicoli ricchi di storia, tramonti sul mare e tanta energia. Un viaggio nel tempo, dove tradizione e passione si fondono in un'esperienza unica.

Today, May 5th, we pause to remember Norma Miller — and the day we lost her. ✨

The “Queen of Swing,” a dancer, storyteller, and one of the last living links to the Savoy Ballroom era, she carried the spirit of swing through generations.

In 2018, SwingAge had the honour of welcoming her to Palermo for what was to be her final concert, at the Teatro Santa Cecilia, alongside the Billy Bros Swing Orchestra. 🎷

Her energy, her strength and her rhythm are still with us, in every step we dance. Her spirit lives on through us 💛

Oggi, 5 maggio, ci fermiamo a ricordare Norma Miller — e il giorno in cui ci ha lasciati. ✨

“The Queen of Swing”, ballerina, narratrice e uno degli ultimi legami viventi con l’epoca del Savoy Ballroom, ha portato lo spirito dello swing attraverso le generazioni.

Nel 2018 SwingAge ha avuto l’onore di accoglierla a Palermo per quello che è stato il suo ultimo concerto, al real teatro Santa Cecilia, insieme alla Billy Bros Swing Orchestra. 🎷

La sua energia, la sua forza, il suo ritmo sono ancora con noi, in ogni passo che balliamo. Il suo spirito continua a vivere attraverso di noi 💛

After a whole day of workshops, history talks and the marching band in the streets of Mondello, we had a night full of smiles and emotions.

✨ Day 3 – The grand finale of the Sicilian SwingAge Festival! ✨

Sunday kicked off with the last Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz classes, once again with the beautiful sea as our backdrop.

In the evening, the magic unfolded:

💃 and a dazzling burlesque show by the one and only

Truly a perfect ending for the second Sicilian SwingAge Festival! 💫

🎺☀️ Day 2 of the Sicilian Swing Age Festival was full of rhythm and joy!

We kicked off with Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz classes under Mondello’s shining sun.

In the afternoon, the marching band brought music and happiness to the streets, filling the air with irresistible swing vibes.

And in the evening, the energy exploded with the Lindy Hop competition and the teachers exhibition — a blazing dance floor and a roaring crowd!

And guess what? The Sicilian SwingAge Festival is not over yet! 💃🕺🎶

🎺☀️ La seconda giornata del Sicilian Swing Age Festival è stata piena di ritmo e sorrisi!

La giornata è iniziata con le lezioni di Lindy Hop e Solo Jazz, sotto il sole splendente di Mondello.

Nel pomeriggio, la marching band ha portato musica e allegria per le strade, coinvolgendo tutti nel ritmo travolgente dello swing.

E la sera, grande entusiasmo per la Lindy Hop competition e l'esibizione degli insegnanti, con una pista infuocata e un pubblico carichissimo!
