Alla luce del F***E protocollo Covid pubblicato dalla FSI, siamo nostro malgrado costretti a cancellare definitivamente l'edizione 2020 dell'Open Capo d'Orso. Nel corso della prossima settimana contatteremo personalmente tutti gli iscritti per le procedure di rimborso.
Organizziamo il torneo di Porto Mannu per farvi giocare a scacchi in condizioni ottimali in un paradiso naturale. Giocare in questa maniera non avrebbe senso.

In the light of the DEMENTED Covid procedures drafted by the Italian Chess Federation, we are left with no alternative but to cancel the 2020 Capo d'Orso Chess Open for good. In the following week we shall be contacting all enrolled players to reimburse them.
Apart from endless red tape imposed on the club and criminal responsibility faced by its president, players would be subject to playing on a 120 cm table (a mythological creature, by all standards), to take turns at the board (!), to wear gloves for the whole game (!), to wear masks AND a visor (!). Is a diving suit next?!
The reason we organize a tournament in Porto Mannu is to make sure you play chess in all comfort in a heavenly place. To play under these conditions would make no sense.
