Con profondo dolore e sgomento, l’Alfa Omega Basket comunica che, a seguito di un tragico evento che ha colpito una giovane atleta partecipante al torneo “Mare di Roma Trophy in Pink”, si è reso necessario sospendere immediatamente la manifestazione.
La notizia della scomparsa della ragazza, che militava nella squadra di Maddaloni, ha profondamente scosso l’intera comunità sportiva presente.
In un momento così drammatico, riteniamo doveroso fermarci, nel rispetto del dolore della famiglia, delle compagne di squadra e di tutte le persone coinvolte.
Sicuri della vostra comprensione, comunichiamo che per questa edizione il Mare di Roma Trophy si ferma qui.
Non esistono parole adeguate per descrivere una perdita così grande e ingiusta.
Tutta l’organizzazione, le squadre partecipanti e lo staff si stringono con commozione attorno alla famiglia della giovane atleta e alla sua società, esprimendo le più sentite e sincere condoglianze.

With deep sorrow and dismay, Alfa Omega Basket announces that, following a tragic event involving a young athlete participating in the "Mare di Roma Trophy in Pink" tournament, the event has been immediately suspended.
The news of the passing of the young athlete, who played for the Maddaloni team, has deeply shocked the entire sports community.
At such a dramatic time, we feel it is our duty to pause, out of respect for the grief of her family, her teammates, and all those involved. Trusting in your understanding, we announce that the Mare di Roma Trophy will end this edition.
There are no adequate words to describe such a great and unjust loss.
The entire organization, participating teams, and staff extend their deepest condolences to the young athlete's family and her club. We also announce that a prayer service is being organized for Friday, April 3rd, in the morning at Alfa Omega's center court.
The schedule will be established and communicated to clubs in the early hours of the morning.
